i think its also checking for the psionics tree for without the new shroud dlc? cause i did psionic but can't equip the psionic army attachments

Been a while since I last played with this mod. Does it have hive unique attachments, I can't quite remember if it does. Does it also have ascension specific hive attachment armies?

Absolutely you're right! I was reported this bug in the discord channel just now and will fix it in the next patch. Sorry, I don't own season 09.

Doesn't seem to be fully compatible with the biogenesis dlc. Despite having gone with the purity route of the genetic ascention, It still asks me to have "genetic traditions" for some reinforcements which, I think, It's not available when one has the biogenesis dlc.

@WP Yeah, it seems I had a ancient version of the mod. I will say I did notice in the mod manager it was saying 1.1 while your other mods I had were saying 4.1

It is working now, I'm not sure what happened. Thank you for the response :steamthumbsup:

Sounds like you have an ancient version of the mod, there are no technologies unlocking specific attachments anymore.

Is the mod working currently? I cannot seem to get it to work. Even just using this mod and the WP Library. I see the technology and research it, but get no popup. There is also nothing in the Edicts section to open the Attachment library.

Also, when researching the tech is it supposed to say for example

Jet-Packs
Empire Modifier
Unlocks Attachment Type: Equipment
Army Damage +10%
Army Disengagement Chance +5%

The part that I'm questioning is, "Empire Modifier." other than that. Idk what isn't working properly

Sure! If the developers implemented the code possibility for it I could use a "triggered_army_modifier" to do extremely fancy things with armies. As a basic example I'd use that to make mammoths more powerful on cold climates!

But it is impossible in the game today.

Thanks for the feedback and the future update to show its integrity. You mentioned one of your other mods that there would be need a certain modifier to make ground battles more unique. I believe the example you gave was Mammoths dying faster on a hot planet vs a cold planet. Could you explain more on that?

Super excited to be seeing these mods get updated, I only discovered them a couple weeks before the 4.0 update, but they quickly become some of my favorite mods, looking forward to finally using them again!

There's a bug in this mod that prevents armies from retreating. I've lost entire 5-10k armies because the bug makes it so your armies get slaughtered until the disengaged attachment army is finally killed...

Ahh I see! Yeah the current PDX team has a rough track record but hopefully they can turn it around in time and get to more meaningful updates again. (Fleets, warfare resolution, internal politics, espionage/cloaking, armies)

Colossal Order is the development studio behind Cities: Skylines and it's sequel Cities: Skylines II whose games were published by Paradox Interactive.

The sequel is in a bad state after almost two years from the release.

Yeah I am hoping that 4.1 or 4.2 will be mostly ironed out. The UI remains a really big issue. My worry is that they will rush on to the next thing too fast, leaving a lot of stuff half baked (which is exactly what the custodians are there to help fight against, to be honest! Certainly not to contribute to.) So we'll see.

Sorry to hear that, though I completely understand, I heard 4.0.22 is doing better but it has its bugs, take your time and I hope you do see an interest in it when you find some joy in it, I would roll back if it wasn’t for bioships, do genuinely enjoy them

You mean the slower PDX updates? They're on their summer holidays right now.

I'm sorry to say that I'm really not interested in updating my mods until 4.0 looks fun and playable to me. I don't like the idea of taking my stuff off of 3.14 (which is fun and playable!!!) forever for a game I don't even want to play anymore, With that in mind, how fast PDX patch doesn't really matter - all that matters is they walk back a their dodgy designs (or convince me they're actually worthwhile) and fix the bugs. So let's hope they start doing a good job when they get back!

Because I do miss modding and I've been itching to come back for ages now.

All this said I am rather curious why the 4.0.13 edition specifically broke this... especially given how minimal this mod is. In many ways it can be described as just a button to a custom GUI panel.

For me it used to run fine until the game updated to 4.0.13 now the popup to specialize doesn't appear when researching the technology anymore and the edict doesn't unlock
