mod update 1.56?
Thank you for the information. This mod truly changes the feel of the truck. Speeding never have been more cautious in Euro Truck Simulator 2
MOMO & YUNA  [
This mod doesn't need to be updated every time SCS launches a new patch because SCS rarely touches the physic file. They usually changes anything in the physics file once in years. So this mod is safe to use now until SCS touches truck physics again, probably for years
Requiem 5
@kaleos Thank you very much!
The mod still works up to version 1.55 and will continue to do so until SCS changes anything in physics.
Requiem 5
Will it be updated to 1.54 or 1.55?
There isn't a new update for a long time. Does this mod still work?
Eyes Nico 2
Thank you for your reply and thank again for this mod. The best in my eyes. Using it with air ride premium, playing with a DD, it's really perfect!
I know a mod that modifie center of gravity and i was wondering if it could go a little bit further in the realism by adding it.(assuming no conflict is put under your mod)
In this mod it is increased to 1100 kg. Standard SCS 700 kg (~average weight of different cabins with different heights)
I did not notice that it modified the center of gravity and weight distribution with and without a trailer.
Eyes Nico 2
Hi, thank you for this mod, all the work.
May I ask about cabin weight, does it modifie the center of gravity and mass repartition with and without a trailer?

Reg I do this IN REAL LIFE 20yrs plus learnt from driving trucks with no tech and with a stick , the Aussie way, and have also ran Australian B - Doubles...not some dumb arse computer driver... the 2018 Volvo I drive Monday to Saturday with a Sunday rest is 500hp with a CML gross of 44t because I have a FUPS bar...that is an allowable increase of 250kg to the front axle, my drive has an allowable 17t with an allowable 499kg for the loading of fluid/ flowable materials like Grains, Quarry products and powered products... the allowable weights to the Tri/ 3 axle trailer is 21t... yep all of that may have gone over your head but these are actuals not product brochure / videos supplied by manufacturers....
when you try to pull up 43.5t - 44T IN A NON EMERGENCY SITUATION IS AS YOU STATED @ 80k in 40m is pushing it...remember the length of braking distances vary due to enviromental conditions , road surface consistancy, other driver ability, your own personal ability. You can put up as many YouTube videos as you like but is not the real deal... the crack at MysticalPotato was not warranted as you might find he too is a IRL driver with life experience. As for your comment of for emergency braking ability thats one I hope I never have to use, blown steers, brake line failures on a trailer are scary enough, if you lived down under and see what our underrated highways , motorways you might just go WTF... your mod may be great but when you are questioned you dont take it on the chin and re-valuate the paramenters...MP could adjust his braking sliders to get what he considers IRL, but to bark at a fellow driver is not proffessional

You want to tell me that the braking distance from 60 km/h is 100m? This is just a warning for drivers of smaller vehicles.
Because the braking distance is actually shorter, unless you have faulty brake systems, worn tires, etc.

Have you ever had emergency braking? I don't think so, that's why you don't know what a modern truck can really do.
I have been a professional driver for over 10 years, that's why I came up with the idea for this mod.

kaleos  .... trucks in Australia @ and up to 44 tonne use safety signs " THIS TRUCK NEEDS 100M TO STOP AT 60KMH' , these signs are for the smaller vehicle owners who think its great to cut infront of us then pull up for a RED signal / traffic light....these instances are common and we run true 6x4 current European and Amercian trucks. If you have ever had the IRL experience what manufactures state to real life instances you would then understand the POTATO. Rusty

What 90m?

A 40t truck from 80km/h stops in 40m

Use a racebox or dragy and measure it yourself if you don't believe me.
" truck/semi-trailer 14 T with speed 50km/h, stopping distance 9m"

Sorry but no. Not sure where the hell you got this info but 9m is literally a joke. 90m Yes. At 50kph you are moving at 13.89m/s, therefore, stopping in 9m would take less than a second. From 50kph!?? LOL. Please, I can go do the research for you but this is just bad info.

This mod should be a part of vanilla game tbh! 100/5
Excellent mod, thanks for making it.
I don't know the characteristics of the behavior of American trucks.
My friend who lives in the USA and is a driver, maybe one day he will help me create a modification for ATS.
You can try to put this modification but you do it at your own risk :)
hello, what about ATS? can i use this mod? Thanks
Thank you for noticing this mistake.
Of course 95%

Update the graphics of recommended settings
Brutal Phase 2024
For Steering Non-Linearity is 40%, 0.04 or 0.40 or 40% of the max 2.00?
Since 1 or 2 major updates of ETS2, the level values of sterring linaerity have changed

max is now 1.5

so, maybe you could update the graphics of your recommended settings as this for new users ?

For 900 -1080 degree users
Steering Sensitivity ------O---- - (100% or 1.00)
Steering Non-Linearity --O---------- (40-50% or 0;40-0;50)

For 1500 degree users
Steering Sensitivity -----O------ (100% or 1,00)
Steering Non-Linearity O----------- (0% or 0,00)
Yes. That's true.
Because it is very difficult to tip over just a truck without a trailer
following the recommended settings, aren't the truck a bit too stable? I mean you almost can't get the truck to flip, right?

could u guys give us a hint about steering sensivity & non linearity on controller? thanks in advance.
I do not recommend FF settings because each steering wheel base is different.
For example, I use a typical simracing base: VRS DirectForce Pro and a real truck wheel with a diameter of 45 cm.
Here are my in-game settings
https://ibb.co/w445CW3

but I still have separate settings in the steering wheel base controller.
Are there any recomendations for the force feedback iv noticed for some time there is no force feedback recomendations only settings within gameplay are listed
MOMO & YUNA  [
I am using this mod with 1.48, I have not noticed anything wrong
Does anything actually need to be changed for 1.48? It seems like the 2 files that this mod modifies are identical in the base game between 1.47 and 1.48.
MOMO & YUNA  [
I leave the updating of this mod to Kaleos
Thanks Master ;)

I have a holiday and work period.
I don't know when I can update.
Hold on :)
Absolutly agree lonlystonr420
All my lorries are impossible to drive with a strong engine.
What a shame. !.48 update made the game becomes not so funny.
when will this be updated for 1.48 i believe physics were changed in version 1.48
Thank you for the mod! Brake distance + the increased animation range/steering non-linearity feel amazing!
RUSTY NAIL 2023
Thank you so much.. I used your recommended settings too. Everything is better now.. keep up the good work 👍
MOMO & YUNA  [
@Rusty Nail:
- Physics 9 Go Pro can replace my old Steering & Cabin Fix mod.
- Most people prefer the premium Air Ride.
I use this mod with GameSir T3 gamepad, and use the proposed settings.
The only difference is for steering sensitivity:
100% - when you park maneuver at the end of delivery.
25% - outside of town, and even in the most towns.

Top notch experience !
This is the best physics mod, and I tried every one of them on Steam Workshop and outside it.
I am sick of those physics mods where you can easily flip truck, and cabin wobble so much I get feel dizzy.

I have Logitech G27 but I don't use it with ETS2 because wheel support is utter trash.
It so bad that I drive superior with gamepad. That's how much bad is...
My plan is to upgrade to DD wheel (probably something like Simagic Alpha Mini) and loadcell pedals later this year.
RUSTY NAIL 2023
Which Air ride mod you recommend with this one? Also are the old mods still relevant? Like steering fix and cabin roll fix.. should I still be using them? Also.. thank you soooo much for these game changers mods
every physics of yours is excellent, to be honest, I don't feel much difference between 10 and 9 NO GOPRO,but I still choose 10 because your introduction is very "professional".
Hey, kaleos: Does the ATS have this?
Switched from momo's 9 GO-PO physics version to this one and don't regret it. ;)
Maybe brakes are a bit too efficient here. Moved the slider one click to the left.
@Alex Passos: I use a Direct Drive base and a 45cm diameter steering wheel (all most trucks)

No matter what steering wheel you have, you always set the "Strering animation range" to 1500 (average) !!!
Real truck from 1350 to 1600 degrees.

For users who use DD bases where you can set any rotation degrees (from 0 to infinity) no problem, because you set 1:1
Steering Sensitivity ----------O (100%)
Steering Non-Linearity O----------- (0%)

For other bases for 900 -1080 degree (logitech, thrustmaster, fanatec etc.)
Steering Sensitivity ---------- O (100%)
Steering Non-Linearity ------O----- (40-50%)
With these settings, the steering wheel in the first stage of the turn behaves like in real life. Driving straight ahead, highway exits and entrances, 90 degree intersections.
Alex Passos 2023
Hi, what steering wheel do you use? It has in the image 1500º
@kaleos: Thank your for your quick reply. I agree, the feeling for the weight is missing, some things are hard to simulate..... The video shows, how dangerous your job sometimes is, respect!
