ok, I figured it out, I hadn't realized one of the people I had with me could set up drop zones. I used the other escorts to draw fire so the snipers could see them, reinforcing as needed.

then when all my troops are dead the mission doesn't end

I wonder if I'm missing something. I get to the part where I'm told to put my snipers on a hill to see what's happening in the base, I would expect some cut scene here but nothing. I can move them around up there and just see enough to start taking shots and get obliterated by the enemy sniper team

This map was really fun. Until the timer killed the game on me. Made good progress for nothing.

Is there a hidden timer on this mission? I have troops in the city, and main character is still alive, but I the mission fails and it displays the message "Not Good Enough"?

Very fun but man I had no idea how powerful enemy snipers could be, really made the mission drag until I figured out a good strategy to take them out. Splitting the map in half was interesting but maybe give us more dropships or a way to earn more, the time to spawn troops and then move them across the map felt too punishing.
