@Cropsy Maniac Its the LIFE mod, all you have to do is go to the context menu, click the panel on the top right corner that says "Life mod" then click "Customizable Life HUD", the last step is to look at the very bottom of the check boxes and check "Disable Hitmarker Sound" and now its gone :)

also i love your script! im not much of a scripter but im having an easy time modding yours, i already made the larger hit markers! now im trying to figure out how to increase line width.

also i feel like the hit marker hangs around way to long so maby duration control as well. if not ile just make the mods me self and keep them to my self and my server as i will not re upload something some one else made.

HAY, as far as im concerned i fixed your script. i made "surface.PlaySound("hitmarkers/mlghit.wav")" Occer 8 times instead of 1, they all execute at once making the hit marker sound 8x louder.
could you please add this to your code so i can subscribe this mod to my gmod server?

@gibis use the config things in the description:
*** Config:

* Console - hm_enabled 1/0 - Enables (1) or disables the hitmarkers, clientside.
* Console - hm_hitsound 1/0 - Enables or disables the sound played on hit

That is because the server didn't have the hitmarker mod, the owner must also have the mod activated in the server for it to work.

i activated it successfully in sandbox, but when i went onto a ttt server, it ws back to the default hitmarkers. also,, forgive my ignorence, but how do you change the sound file?
