hi I seem to have a glitch, where is says the script has an invalid file name, I am not sure what that means but I think it might be broken at the moment

Thanks. Are your mods supposed to contain git versioning files in packs uploaded to steam? I noticed it being picked up as git repo and indeed .git folder is there.

Yeah, I can confirm this, please don't use this mod on the test version until I upload an update (not earlier than it becomes stable).

After the update to the test version of the game this causes all loyalty to drop to -2147483648%

The script has been updated for 0.9. Please restart it for the changes to take effect. By default, instead of objectives at the top, you can now click on any newspaper and wait a few seconds for a window to pop up. The window contains the overview of services in your republic. You can still enable the previous behaviour by modifying this line
DISABLE_OBJECTIVES = 1;
in the settings.txt file.

That was my point, I'm getting to around 2000 of my own population in map with 10k total. I guess tho a ratio 300 per editor may be good enough, I'm not sure if the dormant population fluctuates in loyalty.
But it would indeed be better to have it account for the current population, loyalty is quite a pain in realistic mode, given that it takes quite a lot to research and build radio/tv. So before that you're pretty much screwed.

As of right I just pumped up the vanilla stat of monuments, cause I just don't feel like spamming a Lenin statue in every corner of my tiny town.
The change of loyalty in orphanages and prisons is also welcome, because they're literally a loyalty sink.

Every secret police office without cars contributes its workers to the editor pool. The one recommended is more specialized: it doesn't allow you to buy any cars but can employ more editors than other such offices with a similar size and price. And yes, secret police with cars simply reveal the loyalty of your citizens and don't increase it.

As for averaging, what exactly is your concern? The average is calculated for editors, secret police officers and cinema workers. In a populated map, the dormant population can't access such places, otherwise, it wouldn't be dormant in the first place. The only thing that may be troublesome is providing enough editors for such a population (newspapers increase the loyalty of these people too). It should be possible to exclude the dormant population from the effect and not count it, I may update the script in the future.

So let me try to understand something, because this seems good for someone who's been struggling with loyalty with realistic mode early on.
Does the secret police only work for increasing loyalty if they have no cars, even the vanilla? And just to be sure on this, but the default secret police doesn't actually contribute anything to raising loyalty, right?

Also another concern, is because it says it takes the average on the whole map, the problem being that I play on a pre-populated map, and as such, there is very little I can do for the rest of the population. So how could I work around that specifically?

The mod has been updated, please restart the script for the changes to take effect.
1. The check for active radio and TV should now work correctly.
2. Censorship efficiency for cinemas should now be calculated correctly.
3. Fixed a possible (but fairly unlikely) divide by zero case.
4. Most of the script should now execute in a single frame, the timing between checks was too unpredictable.
5. Description update.

Na ogół folder, w którym się znajduje można znaleźć odczytując końcówkę linku ze Steama, np. tutaj to jest ?id=2963594887, więc folder będzie się nazywał 2963594887. Tak czy inaczej zaktualizuję opis z dokładną ścieżką.

Hej, wiem że to trochę upierdliwe,ale non-stop odwołujesz się do pliku settings w którym można zmieniać ustawienia. Problem w tym, że używam wielu modów i nie mam pojęcia który z folderów to twój mod. Mógłbyś dodać ścieżki do folderów z twoimi skryptami w opisie? Wielkie dzięki z góry.

Manual script activation and the settings file are the "normal" way to implement this IMO and work as designed. About that workaround, I haven't heard of any plans for a more natural way of isolating special buildings.

I see you write about manual script activation. And I also see you used building.nVehiclesWorkingNum < 1 workaround to bind the script to "newspaper" buildings. And also I see you recommend modify settings.txt to configure variables.

Is there any info from devs about "normal" way to implement these? Did they mentioned any plans?
