no.1 headcrab take over. And….
no.2 headcrab canisters
I would suggest adding an option so that players with suit armor dont get infested though.
Zombies should infect victims with Headcrabs.
Instead of just killing an NPC or player, swiftly damage them for a period of time using a damage type which ignores suit power; if they die, spawn a headcrab, but otherwise don't. Classic headcrabs could deal more damage, fast headcrabs could deal more damage per second, and poison headcrabs could come with a more balanced placement.
Headcrab infection should not happen if the victim has suit power.
And restating one of my earlier issues...
NPC fall damage addons still make headcrabs crazy tough.
1. If headcrabs are set to latch onto corpses, they will nearly instantaneously latch onto the body of their victim. Sometimes, they will not latch on quickly, instead returning shortly after the kill to latch onto the victim.
2. If there is an NPC fall damage addon active, the headcrabs perform self-damage and will self-infect, exploding afterwards and leaving a full health headcrab to take their place.
3. Playermodel retains meat texture after respawning.
4. If infections are set to cause the victim to change sides and an NPC fall damage addon is enabled, headcrabs will begin trying to kill each other after taking self-damage.
