S&S would make the overall mod even bigger and might discourage people from downloading it though. It's fine as it is.

SSh-68 is planned and implemented in-game, I want to make sure that there are still under equipped units in the SLA army. It's actually a very small sized army, only a brigade in strength. Support units and militia will have SSh-68 or some comparably common/cheap helmet.

@Teutonische Ritter If anything, a modern version would suit a 6B47. You're talking old helmet there on modern troops. There's a few SSH68 mods where you can add one easily.

Can you also add a SSh-68 for your units, please? I think it will be very good

@Baker I think you need to ask for permission! I imagine it looks way better. Also, the original SLA camo in a S&S would look great as well. I think my issue with the PRACS SLA version that just came out was the really too light lime green camo on a skinny looking uniform. It just didnt appeal to me. Having said that, S&S is just the way to go. My opinion.

Well, RF SSO really REALLY like to cosplay as SOCOM with their offbrand Multicam and FAST helmet replicas and local made slick plate carriers - so most of the stuff's already present in RHS.

Cheap stuff too (much of vanilla Arma 3 gear was modelled off airsoft gear) - i've been using vanilla kit to sim rebels and home guards in missions since forever - except the PCs that have no mag pouches (wtf BI) or have exposed "caseless 6.5" mags.

P.S. for some reason Vanilla chest rigs have really short mag pouches and that ♥♥♥♥ drives me up the f**kin wall )))

@vlk7 Dude you have no idea how badly I want to develop this further. Im actually really interested in the militia group/border guards. The problem I run into is that there are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ many different mods that add so and so multicam crye uniforms etc., I don't want them to be a cookie cutter copy paste. They have to be more or less unique in their own way. That and I don't want the militia to look like I didn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about them. I have a couple of ideas going forward. I may post on the arma reddit a couple of ideas I have and ask the community what they like best. As for the Especas SF guys, I have a pretty good idea what I'm going to do with them. I want them to have a lot of influence from Russian SSO.

@abbadon70 I actually have a personal version with S&S BDU's but I'm not really sure (nor have I asked) if I have permission to distribute them so I kept it to myself. That and I know the RHS model M88 has significantly less vertices so its less taxing on the machine when there are many units spawned. If I have permission to use the S&S uniforms I'll certainly incorporate them at some point though.

When making my own personal stuff, i've tried to get away from RHS uniforms like M88 and subbed in the S&S uniforms for Latin or South American type countries. I like the RHS weapons but not their uniform models.

Def needs more commercial (gucchi) stuff mixed in for units who are allowed to modify their kit - SF, recon, police SF.
Such as Multicam, Wolf Grey (very gucci atm), ATACS green etc.

Also needs some "home guard" type weekend soldiers who use basic / old army kit and cheap commercial / airsoft kit.

I just thought they weren't really intimidating enough, it's been 16+ years, and if lore is to be (loosely) followed, North Sahrani probably would have received military aid from CSAT. I think we can afford to give them some new cammies and kevlar.

yeah the RACS mod definitely were a bit lazy with the SLA by literally just taking the CUP version of CDF and doing a copy paste with their uniforms and gear
