Is there a way to have the grid execute an action when it arrives at its location? For example, have the AI Basic block execute a designated waypoint action when it arrives (in my case its turn off some propulsion overrides to stop a rover).

@Archerion if you press TAB in rts mode it will toggle the antenna signals on to see

I would like to ask, can you make it so that ships can use fixed weapons, as they are useless at the moment. And second, can there be a way to see GPS markers and antenna in the RTS mode.

the Mod is very promising, and could be fun.
but there are some issues, one issue I have encountered are ship rotations, the air doesn't seem to know how to keep the ship upright with your cam, so it is very wonky, but that just might be my inexperience with the ai blocks, just wanted to mention it though

I would like the GPS tags and antennas to not be hidden in command mode. Is there a way to achieve this? It would also be cool if ground vehicles would set their suspensions to the handbrake when reaching a point.

Ok, I tested it locally, and it works in local multiplayer. it works with weaponcore and it works with mechs. I will get to work on the scenario and hopefully have it up and running within a few months

Hello, I am interested in using this mod for a scenario, but I have some questions regarding compatibility;

I am wondering if this mod still does not work with weaponcore or if that issue has been resolved (I will be using turret controllers to operate weaponry, so manual aiming and firing won't be an issue).

I am also wondering if this mod works for ground units such as tanks or mechs (I have working concepts for making autonomous land units work with AI blocks)

I also would like to know if this mod works well in local multiplayer, specifically between 2-4 players.

I plan to combine this with mods like instant projection to allow players to summon units using resources produced over time.

notes: This needs a few more things, i added this to my star wars server and we found its very hard and not reliable to have space combat, this mod works great if your using hover vehicles for ground combat , but for space there is still no attack command or follow command , also we need a better way for units to go up and down and actually go to the point where we click

The mod works with weaponcore. just add an AI offense block and play around with it a bit. it works fine for me with WC.

- Ctrl + Scroll to rapid zoom

Altitude can now be increased / decreased by dragging the cursor while holding RMB (after selecting units)

@geraveoyomama Oh, thank you so much, I'll try to activate it near the planet. Could you please suggest some similar mods for space? And one more thing, do you know if drones are currently working properly to follow me? Somehow I can't give them that command; they just stand still and do nothing

Amazing mod great job. Im not a moder but if there is anything i can do to help just let me know. I have a few ideas like tying the recorder to control click in rts mode to set multiple way points and just click your first way point to set up a loop. And letting us control units owned by a custom faction would be like a stepping stone to an actual enemy AI then at least we could make moves for both sides. For anyone else reading this ground vehicles are just make sure the brakes are off and give the grid plenty of thrust and gyro.

I have seen the vision for this as well, as this game can be run better and better and more autonomously it could become the ground work for a rts game where you build your units from the block up and have em controlled as troops miners builders or all in one with automation ai, basically getting to the point you just control the 3d environment like a top down rts but 3d, build expand fight over 30 minutes for 6 hours with a 3v3 environment. Cant wait till this is doable but its gonna be a whilleeee. basically troops would be entire blueprints so it would come down to building the most efficient designs to mine/ expand and fight then also controlling them better with tactics or autonomous fighting ai.

game would have to run like 20x faster though to even have fun at scale with 100s of mining drones, shipyards making massive ships or drone swarms and control it all real time or sped up

Idk if it's possible, but could you make the AI capable to fly above a static grid floor and not only voxel floor? The objective point can't be placed above a static grid floor. Absolutely amazing mod btw.

I've got a few bugs/glitches. There is a sortof bounding box as to where you can place orders. This is fine and all but if you accidentally place an order outside of this box the control gets borked and you can't change the location of the order, only the height.

This leads pretty well into the second bug. Order-height sometimes glitches so that you can't "drag" the height down, meaning that re-issuing a command for height resets the height so far up that dragging down over your entire screen will always leave the end height unchanged.

A smol suggestion, in MoveToGridPosition you actually want to set it to "patrol" and give it the same waypoint twice with AddWaypoint. Maybe wiggle the second waypoint coordinates a tiny bit.

This prevents the issue where you set an autopilot and sometimes it doesn't want to go there.
