"Das FlippenFloppen" has me laughing out loud as a German XD It perfectly fits the Medic's mangled German.
We usually call this footwear "(die) Badelatschen" (already a plural) or these days just use the English name and slap a German pronoun on it: "(die) FlipFlops"
