the starting weapon coverage is awful so much so nearly the entire topside could be described as "completely" unprotected, another issue is the back point defense gun (which i believe is automatic and will target without being manned) will shoot into the ship from the middle to the front making it impossible for your ballast tanks to counter... because it just blasted open your ballast tanks. i am yet to complete a campaign with this thing because of its unprotected suicidal tendencies

great sub! my only complaint is that the scout drone does not have a mineral scanner for, you know, scouting. the ai gets a little confused fixing the walls by armory sometimes, but that probs just bot weirdness. i have also experienced an issue where the torpedoes just lack all control except for detonation, i dont really understand why this happened, but ive only experienced this problem once

Unfortunately I couldn't replicate the problem on my end. Could you please check the reactor power output? And if possible, send me a copy of your sub file, either via dropbox or on discord @tracon. Thanks

Just checked, that all are connected, and have disabled all mods while testing the sub again (sadly the lights are still off, even when re-typing on the terminal twice to check and see)

Well they are disconnected from the very beginning, tried every mod/ patch/ and etc. Also there is still no lights, had to connect it to a powered relay component to actually play it

From testing the sub in sub creation, there are ALOT (er-some wires which are not wired, which I do not know which components to connect to & also there are no frickin lights in the sub, even went troubleshooting with it but sadly failed)

Any chance to get an update to the valkyrie drones? The seem to be broken with the 1.0 update

I was inspired to create a ship in this style by kitbashing some of your ships together. I've created light cruiser with aesthetics in the style of this ship and with parts from Khopesh, Peregrine, and Hastings. The wiring and layout is all custom.

It's nearly complete, and I created it for my own use, but I figured I should give you a chance to take a look at it before I think about publishing.

do you have power in your junction boxes? Also check the system terminal (the medical monitor near the captain's navigation console). There's a command in there to toggle lights.

Yes, the drone is both periscope and navigational terminal drive, you can switch between the control modes using the on/off button in the nav terminal. As for the mineral scanner, I think they changed the game so that attack subs can't equip scanners anymore, only scouts can.

Btw, why doesn't it have a mineral scanner?

Also note: using this sub for PvP might result in issues with mirrored sprites for the opposing sub. It'll look ugly but I don't think functionalities are affected. Unfortunately it's a game issue so I can't really do anything about it.

Confirmed. If the room with the window is fully flooded and there's no spray, it's impossible to tell where the leak is without sweeping with a welder.

Well I'm feeling kind of inspired now. I think the only problem is that some of the hull is hidden behind an "item", and it might be hard to tell which parts need repairs.
