The ladder exit is a bit of a PITA to get in/out of sometimes, but this is a very fun sub to play on.

Okay, did a bit of research. Apparently, the issue with not being able to fire the pulse laser is either a fault of the LUA, or the EK mods. Perhaps a script fault in either making it unable to fire?

Oddly enough, can confirm @Syrus' issue - for some reason, the single click works wonders, and I can pilot, but double clicking while in the spotlight/gun doesn't enable it. It starts glowing very slightly, but it doesn't charge and shoot properly. Is this a pulse laser thing, or something not working right?

that's due to the class being attack, only scouts and transports get the mineral scanner upgrade

one extra thing, we noticed that there isn't an option to upgrade ourselves to a mineral scanner, don't know if that is the sub or another mod

thought there was a selling feature, but i guess not. you should be able to move your stuff to another sub, then use a save editor to change the narwhal file to a new one, i.e. https://ignis05.github.io/baro-save-editor/ for the save editor. it'll be a bit of legwork

how do we sell it? and barring that, how do we edit the save without losing our items inside the sub

(Also, as a note, you'll still have to edit the save or sell and re-buy it(?) in order to have the updated version. Sorry about that.)

@Tone-DEAF I just pushed out an update that changes the logic used for switching between guns. It should be more robust now. Previously, a relay would toggle the state of the relays used to control the guns, but it's possible that in multiplayer the toggle would only partially complete, locking it in an intermediate state. The new version has the gun state stored in a memory component, which is written to by the switching parts, so it should be atomic.

yeah unfortunately we don't know when it happened, since we played a couple of rounds just dashing to the next outpost, we are thinking we'll just buy a new sub, then buy the narwhal again to see if that fixes it, because reloading doesn't do anything

@Tone-DEAF is there a consistent way that the failure can be reproduced? my immediate thought is that there might be an issue with the tolerance in the delay components in multiplayer, since i tuned them to be about as low as would still work in singleplayer, but not sure how i'd test that

hi there, during play me and a friend discovered that the guns stopped swapping, we are stuck with the bottom gun and it wont switch to the top anymore, we don't know what the issue is. any tips?

i cant get the guns to shoot. they light up and make a sound like they are charging but it never happens

Simple solution: airlock

either dismiss the other members of your starting crew, or if you want to start as sec/medic/assistant then you can host a multiplayer game and either play through like that or use a save editor to convert it into a singleplayer save

@Momoka you can try dismissing them all through the HR
