Is it possible to edit that only the ai gets effected by this and not the player? If yes what do i need to edit?

This mod is one of the top submods of 1212! Awards already given. Just one thing though, the AI factions research so fast and recruits massive Late units army in the start of the game, which is too OP.

could you make a version that doesn't give AI research rate bonus? It messes with the scripts.

is there a mod out there that works for medieval kingdoms that makes the ai use more infantry? all i see is missile/missile cav doomstacks in my games.

@MyNameIsJeff : Yes, it can be deactivated, but if you have many units your economy will be destroyed, with negative income. It is recommended to play from beginning to end with the mod activated. But you can try, there wont be any crash.

@Kaiser Doggy : Yes, every AI which has cheats will use it, there are like 80%-90% of factions with it.
