Ah good.
Glad to be of service and that you enjoy them. I don't know when I'll fix it to display properly, my days are very long now but it is now officially on my to-do list.
For now i'll just play with Greatest of Daemons until the problem is resolved, but there are actually i bunch of other mods of your mods that i play with. Immersive Vampire Reskin, Sentient Bloodletters, Special beards for Special Dwarfs, Etc, Etc. Never even noticed how many of them are yours until recently.
I remember you well. You are very persistent. So the good news, is that after further investigation, you're absolutely right, there is a mismatch if you play without my Greatest of Daemons mod activated, it's not just brighter it's an entirely different color.
The bad news is that I'm too busy to fix it. So your options are to not play with it, play with Greatest of Daemons activated, or use Photoshop/RPFM and edit the textures/mod accordingly and fix it.
Probably not the best news but that's the way it is. Good luck!

Most likely yes.
Sure, probably next major patch, like 6.1.
-Added Skulltaker, Scyla, Skarr, Bloodbeasts of Khorne and the Slaughterbrute.
That's cool man, I hope someone who's not me makes your ideas come true.
Thank you for your comment!
Added new textures for Karanak.
Those are Greater Daemons. Tamurkhan is not a Greater Daemon. One day I may do a separate mod for mortal followers of Chaos.
It's not you... it's me. He isn't darkened and won't be. At least by this mod.
Interesting. Well I'll see what I can do, perhaps after they finish the Khorne and Slaanesh DLCs I'll take a whack at em.
Possibly, I don't find mortal forces to have the same level of cartoony brightness with the exception of Festus, but someone already did a mod of him being darker.
What units were you thinking of?
I suggest you re-subscribe and look again. Your game may not have updated properly.
New daemonic units and RoRs are now darkened, including Rot Knights and Bile Trolls.
Thanks! Burplesmirk Spewpit is already darkened adequately, head and body, you likely have a mod conflict or incorrect load order.
I'm doing a Norsca campaign and the unclean one hero in their roster has a normal colour head and darker body. Any chance you could do his too?
Sure, go to hu4d folder in my mod, then delete all the Plaguebearer .rigid_model_v2 files, might want to delete the associated texture folder, I'm not sure and for Plague Toad mounts just go to the to1 folder and delete those associated .rigid_model_v2 files.
If you delete those variants in my mod, you will get the proper display of his versions.
Thank you for your indepth answer and apologies for my lack of specifics on Tzeentch
Please let me know what files would I have to delete to make sure your mod is given priority on some of the models in RPFM (Variant meshes?)
I just need to delete the Plague Bearers on foot and on any mounts as those are causing the most graphical corruptions
There is no gore overhaul for daemons so don't worry about it.
No, I will not. Both of our mods touch the models for the factions, I do it so the daemons remain high detail at all LODs, he does actual custom models, but even if I did a version of the mod that was texture only, it would still mismatch, because his mod has a massive amount of custom textures.
I will not be doing the equivalent texture work of one whole mod, multiple times for each god, with someone else's work.
I suggest you use RPFM and delete the parts that are incompatible from both mods until you find the balance you like.
Please be specific about your Tzeentch problem. 'Some Tzeentch birds'... does not narrow it down very much. I looked across the Cockatrice/LoC/Exalted LoC, lacking anything more specific, and they look fine to me. You probably have a mod conflict.
Not really. It's not something I'm very concerned about after looking into it. You might be using a Reshade that could be exaggerating natural contrasts because it looks fine to me. If more people make something about it I might darken it a little bit in a future update, but I'm not seeing anything that is two radically different mismatched colors.
New Changebringers unit have been... changed... accordingly.
Blood Keepers faction leader has the same skin as custom battle Exalted Bloodthirster. And I won't be playing Realms of Chaos campaign just to see Brazen Throne leader. I have to assume you are NOT using the Greater Daemons mod, because that is the black Bloodthirster, and he matches.
If you're not using that mod, then that would mean it's the same baseline texture (but darkened) across all Exalted variants. His head has more red tones and the body in general is darker than I remember, perhaps CA did some lighting alterations to their engine since I released the mod.
I'll look into it further and update when I get back from work in Japan, hopefully in a month or so.
I doubt they would be compatible. And that is a great idea, not sure how to do it though.
@Destroyer of Skulls
Just took a look in custom battle, looks fine to me. I'll take a deeper look later but you may have a mod conflict. If you're using this mod in conjunction with my Greater Daemon variety mod, make sure this one loads on top.
@Orc Merchant
Not for a while. No update needed.
Any future plans to have the faction banners / icons reflect the darker / grimmer colours, that could be cool as f**k ? I can't stand the bright pink Slaanesh faction icon anymore :'(
