The point of having it public is for ease of download by my players.
WRT your other point about soft dependencies- I will speak to basipek, but this mod is still HEAVILY WIP and dependencies can and will change frequently. We're trying to get things working in the way we need them to. My concern is not really with anyone else.
Or, would you allow for other mod makers to reupload this with the desired changes? You could slap a GNU General Public License v3.0 on it meaning people can change it, but they must share their work, so you could also benefit from someone else adding something you think is cool but didn't think of.
If neither of these, well what's the point of even having this mod listed in public?
Because this mod now adds ammunition for use by my unit. It's made for us, not really meant to accommodate anyone else.
Thanks for the feedback! Regarding the upwards boost, the game's already kind of trying to do that by reeling the rope in; but it's not fast enough to make the velocity more upwards than forwards. I could add some kind of boost with some tweaking if you really wish, and Eternal approves.
Thanks again, enjoy!
My only suggestion
The real life fulton, rather than launching the person following the momentum (forwards) actually launches em straight up because of some winch system, so they don't hit terrain, buildings and so on in cluttered places. I dunno if this can be replicated in arma by perhaps giving them a boost upwards, and then they get pulled in the direction of the flying aircraft. Whether you try and do it or not (itd be a pain, so i understand) this is still what i always wanted
