However, I ask you to pay attention to the fact that with manual reloading enabled, this should not affect the AI-gunners. Please try test AI-behavior also.
I suspect, that the "AmmoCan" mod did not take into account this affecting, for this reason at some point in the gameplay, the AI gunners of the vehicles stopped firing.
@Hirschi I could add settings for both. The chat is only for the person reloading, other players in vehicle don't see it, and there's no other way to check remaining ammo, since the "last" mag could have any number of rounds. As for combing, you would eventually need to do that at some point, the issue would be how to trigger that in a sensible way.
When the ammo runs out (any vehicle, turret) then automatic reloading starts.
It looks weird if the player has the "R" button to reload before running out of ammo.
This is strange, because any hand weapon in Arma3, after depleting ammo, always requires manual reloading.
Is there no way to disable auto-reload so that the player always needs to press R to reload?
I observe, that the mod does not work with the Dshkm machine gun from RHS. Mod in general should to work with turrets? Or mod aimed only by vehicles?
@Solarcode red Thanks! Yes it would, but that involves config changes and then compats for mod vehicles.
