@Jeremygames2006 Very odd, and I can't see how that's even possible. Maybe a mod conflict? Have you tried on a new test map with just this mod, Harmony, and Loading Screen Mod?

I am trying to place street lights in a line, but it seems this mod cannot rotate the props, no matter what I set the rotation to.

@DreamGrid Unfortunately, no, the size variation is an inherent property of the way trees are rendered in-game. I might take a look at a future date when I have time, but it won't be anything soon.

This is a great mod and works fine for me. I'm trying to put trees in a line, but the trees come in different sizes. Is it possible to have the trees with to be the same size but with the random rotation reserved?

@BrunoSupremo For the game, yes. The mod is slightly different, and that is intended due to user requests. However, I can take a look at what you're suggesting.

That is not the intended difference for the tools and they should work different even on the first curve.
But here they are working the same. Both are doing curve tool.
It works for roads, but not with the trees.

Here the expected behaviour and how they should differ (based on the road tool):
If you do a L-shape, with the curve tool, it is expected that the curve will be draw within that L-shape guide, similar to a spiral and not perfectly round.
The free form will actually modify the L shape, the two 'segments" of the L will change sizes to keep the same proportion and just the initial angle will be kept, this makes a curve that is perfectly round instead of spiral.

Basically the freeform only do perfect circles, while the curve tool make ellipses.

@BrunoSupremo Not a bug. For the first curve they are identical, but the freeform tool enables continuous building using the previous curve as a reference.

There is a bug in the freeform tool. It is the same as curve tool.

@NEW FOUND GLORY That might be an issue with the specific fence; you may need to enable Prop Anarchy to enable overlaps if the prop's bounding box is slighly out of alignment (which is common).

I'm trying to create connected fence, but for some reason it overlaps, I tried 2 and 3 and 4 steps and even toggled "auto fence tool" or whatever that is... nothing helps

@t_helgeson06 If it's not showing up in your mod options, then it's not loaded, so won't show up in the game either. Have you tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to force a download?

For some reason this isn't showing up in my game. I'm trying to plant a row of trees and the only thing that comes up is the brush tools. It shows that it is activated in skyve, but it also doesn't show up in my in game mod options page. does anyone know what my issue is?

Hi, I cannot set for example 2.5 as the distance between objects :( - must be 2 or 3. Is it possible to change it? I remember that in old BloodyPinguin's prop line tool values with x.5 etc. were avaible.

The mod can't consume FPS unless you use it, as the author said. Do not panic

@knight mannn I put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that my mods have no performance impact in normal operation.

It does not consume any FPS at all, except when you're using it, when the FPS it consumes will be up to how you use it. If you're using it to place 10 000 buildings in a row, then yes, there will be an FPS hit equivalent to rendering 10 000 manually-placed buildings.

"I heard" is not exactly a reliable source of information, and bear in mind that there are some people out there who enjoy spreading lies about mods for whatever reason.

Hello Alger! first of all, thanks a lot for your works here, man! second, I've been using this mod since the other one, prop line mod, started giving me problems. You see, I've tried to do it in many ways and I don't think it can (if is allowed can tell me how, I'd be super grateful lol) but the space of the line jumps meter by meter. As a detailing player, I'd love to make lines for example at 2.05 or 2.34 or whatever, but i can't. Do you plan to tweak the mod to allow to change that?
If it can really be done, tell me how, 'cause I have no idea

@kthealtermaster Fence mode is a shortcut to automatically space and rotate items so they are continuous in a line (like a fence), and if required will overlap a final object to make sure that the line of objects EXACTLY matches the line you draw, even if it's not a clear multiple of the object size. I hope that makes sense.

I think I'm still missing something about fence mode... is there a difference between fence mode and line mode?
