Ck2 mods are case sensitive on Linux but not on Windows, which leads to some mods not being compatible on Linux OS such as Ubuntu even though they work fine without crashes on Windows OS, especially larger mods with new maps because they just have so many more lines of code.
Here are instructions a Linux user gave for a different mod that had issues with Linux:
Solution for most bugs on linux:
Go to steam
Right click on ck2
Properties -> Compatibility-> Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool
this forces it to use windows files which are not case sensitive
They all work fine on my Windows computer, if the instructions above don’t work contact me on Discord and I can put you in touch with a Linux ck2 modder.

Several new societies were imported from other mods, and one of them are new demon worshipers, yes.

The new update is not save game compatible, if you would like to continue an old save please visit our Discord for a download link to the old version.
If your minimap displays the vanilla minimap instead of the Dolphin Kings minimap, this is a bug caused by Steam Workshop and please consider performing a direct download of the mod.
Note that I said IF, though.
For example Orcas as a rival race to the Dolphins. maybe the Orcas can be a Mongol type of thing

Sometimes steam workshop will not download a large mod if you already are subscribed to many other mods for the same games. This is unfortunately an issue with steam workshop itself rather than something I can fix on my end. Either try unsubscribing from other ck2 mods on the workshop if you are subscribed to a lot, or try performing a direct download of the mod from the link available on our discord server. Large mods usually have less issues when installed via direct download when compared to the steam workshop anyway.

If black flags are appearing on your map in the new udpate you may need to clear the flag cache on your computer as a huge amount of flags were added, to do this navigate to <your documents>/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/Dolphin Kings (not to be confused with the separate 'mod/Dolphin Kings - Steam' folder) and delete the GFX folder.
