By no means did I mean I didn't like your work. I have several of your assets and they are some of the best on the workshop. I'm just saying the name doesn't fit. As far as 'arbitrary definition' I actually live in the South Bay area where both the style gained popularity and was one of the first people to start using that term before it even caught on. Please don't be discouraged from posting those assets, just consider different nomenclature.

McMansion connoisseurs will have full meltdowns if I upload more McMansions that don't perfectly fit their arbitrary definitions. Perhaps it's best for all of us if I don't.

I love your work, but as a SoCal resident I can definitively say you've mislabeled this asset. This is more of a high end suburban home. A 'McMansion' to us is the 2-3 story microcondo looking monstrosities they tend to replace old school residential homes on small plots with. They then sell them for extremely high prices (thus the 'mansion' part) and pump them out like fast food burgers (thus the 'Mc' part). They got the disparaging title for being ugly overpriced eyesores in local neighborhoods.

That's not what a "McMansion" is, but it's a nice looking house regardless.
