i'd require a specific version to be able to watch some specific replays where lunatic had been played, it tells me it needs version 5dd797 (maybe a checksum), from about 3 months ago, 30.5.25 (day,month.year) to be exact.

I really liked playing this character until I realized he had an absurd healing factor. It could probably do with being cut by like...more than half.

It counter move that approach you too rapidly, something akin to cowboy Implale, teleport or Ninja superdash.

All of the guides I've seen so far appear to be outdated. Is there an up-to-date guide anywhere? (I mostly just want to know what invitation does)

is there a guide video on youtube on how to play this character correctly? (also is the second sprite on the picture a second form or why is it there?)

they lose heath in hysteria, the problem might be blind or not unstanding how bloodpool work

The mod isn't loading for me, doesn't show up in the Mod List. I was using this a couple days ago and was fine and saw you updated it and now it doesn't work. Not sure what's wrong as it is in my workshop folder and I tried resubscribing a few times already.

Question about the skin: does it include moveset changes? I've been reading through the guides and the comments seeing stuff about saves and was wondering if the character was updated or if it's all locked to a skin or whatnot.

@Furious Yeah the Sans is ridicilous as a characters, thats why I wanted to test him the second. Since zoning doesnt work and constant pressure is needed and your damage is capped by Karma mechanic, you usually fall short of moves before Lunatic can close the distance which creates a very long stalemate until you deplete your stamina.

The issue isnt the character, its the playstyle. Second update was to clarify that.

Second update was to clear that ''so far this specific character works'' wasnt the deal, its a specific playstyle that worked against the Lunatic while zoning and constant aggro are punished heavily. You cannot rely on brute force.

By the way it was "documented" I don't think you and the person you are "testing" with know how this game function and what matter in gameplay. Whatever was "little room for error the moment she stun you" that is just a combo. Then elaborately saying Just win neutral to win. No mention of how neutral game, setup, blockstring, etc.
"So far only 3 character-" the character can be won with any character on vanilla standard if just play better.

Second Update: Seemingly characters that are mobile and can string combo's together are fairing well against Lunatic. It is hard, you have very little room for error as the moment she stuns you, she's going to get couple more hits and pretty much refill the damage you did to her and then some.

However it IS possible. So far 3 different characters managed to win against this. The key is to block when you cant string combo and keep up the pressure as long as you can.
Trying to zone doesnt work reliably to be a good strategy.
Trying to constantly attack doesnt work reliably as one misstep ruins your efforts.

Thus far the most effective gamestyle has been early pressure BEFORE the Lunatic player uses the Burst ability (which triggers the lifesteal), then use blocks and reversals until you can string a combo. Repeat.

I love Lunatic, even its current self, but I must have done some glitch or something because my blood points constantly regenerated AND the blood points took damage instead of me making me basically invincible.
