If you have another mod that overrides sugar, you'll need to use that mods sugar to make ethanol in the distiller

The Coffee Machine is completly broken and unusable. Whenever it´s used the sound of the machine working does not stop in any way even after changing locations and keeps looping.

not sure if this is just me, but whenever we eat there is very little effect on our hunger. thirst is fine however.

@DerHergen: That sounds like you're playing with DynamicEuropa and didn't follow the load order instructions. Make sure to put Hungry Europans above DynamicEuropa :steamthumbsup:

@Bread: As long as the creature is specified with a vanilla creature group (or family you could call it) it would drop the respective meat. For example if a new creature is defined as part of the mudraptor family, they'd drop mudraptor meat, but supporting custom groups is too much effort we can't really support and each additional group we add support for will increase the performance impact caused by hitting something with a meat cleaver. Especially bad considering there's hundreds new creatures in Barotraumatic. As for the sink, it will be redone in the future, but for now it will give fresh water as many people asked for a way to get it from the sink.

@GandalfIsNotAJedi: The poisoning is quite difficult to get right, especially now that all items share the same values for poisoning. This was done to reduce the amount of code and make it easier to adjust, but this means each bite always applies the same amount of poison, no matter the food, which means food that takes more bites to eat in total will apply the most poison while quickly eaten food will be least effective at poisoning someone. We do need to mess around with it some more to find a good middle-ground for the values.

@_]|M|[_ is there some way to config or increase the amount of hunger food gives? cause most foods give next to no hunger effect decrease thus making it very difficult for me and the people i play with's campaign specifically with the hunger meter

Would it be possible to remove inverted controls on low levels of drunkedness ? I think it's funny when you're proper drunk, but *nobody* stumbles after ONE beer...

(pretty sure this isnt implemented, or if it is, doesn't work all the time) adding some support for barotraumatic creatures would be really good, definitely not something super important, but good QoL. love the mod <3 (same with parallel skilltree talents and the chef role)

Any chance you could make the poisons you add to food more powerful, feel real underpowered at times. Or at least make it configurable so people can make it more powerful if they want. As a chef, I need to be able to roofie someone when necessary, and right now it just does not work that well.

@BigDaddyPatty: Sadly not possible. XML modding doesn't support adding fully custom new orders for bots.

@Nemo_Nothingness: We'll reduce how quickly forks/spoons become dirty with the next update. Rice isn't part of this mod so either the mod it's from uses too low values or something is broken. We try to keep our food somewhat believable so you may need to eat 2-3 burgers for example depending on how hungry you are.

@GandalfIsNotAJedi: It is possible and we might add some more things, but not sure when.

@Shizhan: Will be fixed with the next update, however this will split the connections into input and output. All currently wired devices will automatically be connected to the input so you may have to simply move some wires from input to output once the update releases.

Would it be possible to add more things we can put in people's food? Maybe make it so we can add radiation to food by grinding up fuel rods or something?

Can anyone help? This is our first time playing with this mod, and it's crazy how much you have to eat to get rid of your hunger. I had to eat a ton of bowls of rice to get full, and I had to wash my spoon a bunch of times. Is there a way to adjust the saturation from food to increase it so I have to eat less?

Yes I was supposed to update 2 weeks ago but things came up. I'll push a quick update to fix sea weed recipes, then there will be a more experimental update with a rework of how kitchen items are placed

The Crawler Brisket needs sea weed strips that are 100% unlike all the other ones where it can be 0-99%. meaning they're impossible to make

full meals in general should replenish way more, at least 20% hunger

@SpookyDorf: Yes, it finally received the rework update on August 10th which changed a lot of the food and recipes, but Charborg's crew also used the Hungry Europans Expansion mod alongside it.

Would it be possible to make an item in the editor you can place down like a little plate or something that you can physically put down your mug on when not drinking? So I have a little plate on my captains desk where I put my coffee filled mug down on instead of holding the whole time.

We play with a modpack that includes Hungry Europans, and one person on the crew has stress enabled, but the rest, who haven't opted in, keeps getting stress, which then grows until removed, either by smoking or some other way. Seems to primarily be happening during high stress situations, like gunfights and such, but it is quite annoying to have it popping up, and having to remove it when you didn't opt in. Any solutions to it?

Would like to see a config, the most recent update made us lose motivation to use the mod as food/drink is difficult to maintain. We did add it as a way to add "difficulty" but its probably the most difficult part of the modpack we've used. If a config is added, would be appreciated <3

1. If I got that right after this new update the kitchen counter cannot recieve power from batteries/relays anymore? Whats the workaround?
2. You didn´t change the shi.tting mechanics like I asked you to. I´m highly disappointed. Please consider changing this in a future update.

@Mr. Orgasm: Can't really tell. A lot of code was improved, but generally the more afflictions a character has and the more characters exist, the more impact on performance it will have. That's why Neurotrauma runs so poorly in Cities when combined with DynamicEuropa since NT applies invisible afflictions to every character in the level and DE increases NPC count.
