Okay, so I made a post here earlier regarding what I thought was a bug, but I'd like to amend my prior comment - this was a user error on my side, as the Medichelon's alt/right click attack does work, however from my mucking about it seems to only work when submerged in water. My mistake, I apologise. Again, wonderful mod, one of my favourites. Thanks!

That's strange, it worked for me and others in SP, and there haven't exactly been any updates to ASE recently lol... But unfortunately I cannot support and develop for both ASE and ASA, if only because of the storage space requirements, their powers combined is over 2 terrabytes and counting... I am continuing development on the ASA version for now

Hi, I commented on this mod a while ago. I'm still having great fun and I love the creatures! It's a wonderful mod that adds great value to the oceans/rivers. However, I noticed that the Medichelon/turtle seems to be unable to use its alternate/right click attack (the one that smashes rock etc) when I load my single-player save. I'm not sure if this has been reported before.

They also block the inside of the bubble from being seen by predators. From the outside, the stems are dark green, the bubble appears slightly translucent. The material of the plant has a strength similar to wood or thatch, but its chemical composition repels wild animals from attacking it. Those plants can be grown from spores (seeds) or cuttings of grown plants. When destroyed, the harvest contains fiber, sap, LUMINESCENT BACTERIA, and a HARDENING SAP. Those last two substances may be usable for ... things.

SUGGESTION - Part 1
I could imagine (and wish for) a huge aquatic plan, that has air-filled bubbles on short and long stems. Those bubbles are very big and allow for bases of different sizes inside. To use the inside, the player has to make a hole somewhere at the bottom of the bubble. The bubble fills with water up to three quarter, but over time the organic inside of the bubble continues to produce oxygen until only the lowest part of the bubble where the hole is, is under water, but the remaining 90% are free of water. An advantage is, that the organic walls of the bubble produce a slightly pinkish luminescence - great for seeing and great for growing plants! To build inside, pillars can be used, or foundations, to allow for walls and everything else. Those bubbles are not fully round but almost.

After you pet it(E key), the medi should play a "shy" animation, then you need to gain XP while nearby it untill it's comfortable enough to be handfed. At the moment it's taming method doesn't work very well, and will be overhauled after I finish adding some QoL stuff that gives underwater versions of tools and stuff. I thought I recently temporarily set it to a standard passive tame until I could redo it.

How do you pet a medichelon

Medichelon taming is supposed to have you pet it, tell you you need get more xp while near it so it trusts you, then feed it when it does. It has an animation where it hides in its shell after you pet it and that goes away when its ready to be feed. At the moment however its rather bugged and I need to redo the system, especially with higher levels. It seems to work MORE correctly on single player but still isn't good. I may switch it to normal passive in the next update until i can properly redo its taming.

Apologies, I did miss something in the dossier regarding gaining its trust. It's wandered into my base so I'll just pop in and out and see how it goes. Thank you!

Hi there! Lovely mod, I managed to net myself an Orkronosaurus with some good luck, which I'm really having fun with. Just a quick question - I've been attempting to passively tame a Medichelon but there's no progress to the tame, no matter what I try to feed her, can you please advise further? I checked online for info and I've browsed the comments but still unsure, so maybe I've missed something? Apologies if this has been explained previously. Thank you.

bubblefish do seem to be overspawning some, Ill turn them down on LI.

The turtle(Medichelon) not being saddle-able is a bug, thanks for reporting it, It will be fixed in the next update.

I will check it out, and possibly turn down their spawns. They intentionally spawn on the beach and are supposed to be able to crawl around on land. Mostly on account of being a shoulder pet they need to, but also I like that they go on land.

The turtle's saddle is not worn Is there a way to use it?

Yeah on lost Island their is way to many of them and they somehow even get on land.

I am not going to do that, it is an essential part of the mod. May I as what you don't like about it?

Can you make the mod without bubble fish please! Its perfect but bubblefish are very annoying to me.

Yeah sorry, I am bad at making decisions, so I let a random wheel decide which structures to add next. An update today should add triangle foundations, normal sloped ceiling, and sloped walls, along with some other stuff. Everything will be added in time, I just needed to get an update out to fix some problematic bugs, and shipped it with the coral stuff I had already finished.

Helo. I have one issue. There is triangle coral roof , but this is slope triangle roof and cant match with ceilings and there is no triangle walls so this thing is unusable in buildings. Can you change this with normal slope roof and add triangle walls ? Stay save.

It will work with any map, and I like my custom names a little more, I'd think that are slightly easier to say/remember.

will thjis work with asny map? like say the center/ or ragnarock. or lost island

Atlantochelys is another possibly big protostegidae if you're wanting a valid name to use for the Archelon, though we don't really, know much about it except from "Possible 3 meter shell"

but for maximum hilarity for fossil nerds, change the Kronosaurus' name to Eiectus. Eiectus is the possibly valid name for some Kronosaur fossils that used to be for the bigger Kronosaur estimates (that's also possibly become invalid) but also its Very Funny as a fossil nerd for Eiectus to be the Kronosaurus replacement

As for Moop515, RamZkhie, and Apple, yes, I would recommend using said name change mod if you are unhappy with my names, however it doesn't change saddles and eggs and such, and I do agree some people probably wouldn't want a twice used creature natively, or don't know ini/don't care to set it up, so I will be changing Archelon and Kronosaurus to Medichelon and Orkronosaurus.
