Could you make it so that you can set it so that the sounds are gone completely? for some reason no matter how i turn down my audio it's still pretty loud and the sounds make me hungry :P

Oh, good news actually, I found the original sound files

@Fluffy Dragon, sadly I made this mod super long ago and I lost the files for it, and I also forgot how to mod at all, I don't remember anything, so yeah I don't think I can fix it by myself, I'm willing to remake the sound file if someone else can deal with the coding.

Seems this issue has already been identified. I hope it gets fixed soon

Biggest issue I have is that there is no way to differentiate when your spear hits an enemy or bounces off the wall. I think you may have messed up those sounds.

Literally went to the workshop solely for a mod like this. The sounds are perfect! Youre a lifesaver.

Yeah not sure exactly how that might have gone down, I'm not a modder but maybe it generated a sounds.txt with something from other active mods affecting it. IDK how the sounds text file is generated (or if you just manually made it) but maybe if you do that function while only this mod and the base game stuff is enabled? I might play around with load order too, I loaded this after remix and more slugcats

That's what I found related to spear sounds. Everything is deleted and replaced with the Clang1B effect.

Also there's like 50 extra lines included at the bottom of the file. I found the spearmaster sounds there but a lot of it seems completely unrelated.

Your mod is wonderful but it's really annoying when mods change extra things without mentioning it. thanks

@.Woof Same here, all the spear impact sounds are just metal pings now and this was the only mod I added, Quite odd. I'll update if I find any solution

Oh my gosh, this is perfect. I was just looking for something like this, as the sound Spearmaster’s spears make really squicks me out. I was originally gonna use “sillymaster” but that’s just slide whistles instead of removing the sound all together. Thank you so much for making this.

Tried to do that first of all. Didnt helped, even reinstalled after, mod autoinstalled back(steam subscribe does its thing) and spears still sounded strange on impact. Disabled bunch of mods - didnt helped. After i thought, which mods changes sounds - that one, disabled, fixed.

I dunno, but when i tried to spear someone without that mod impact sound was normal and not scuffed.

@.Woof I've played with my own mod for a long time and I never had this problem, are you sure this mod is the issue?

So, apparently this mod ♥♥♥♥♥ up the spear impacting a body/gourmand body slam. Took me a while to get the problem why my spears sounds like rocks.

Some people don't like the sound of Spearmaster creating a spear.
