They probably touch the same file. Sounds like that other mod modifies the carrier to add auto-turrets where as this one modifies the carrier to add different monitors

I'm curious as to how this mod conflicts with Combat Carrier, which literally only adds a few auto-turrets to the front and back of the carrier.

This mod is incredibly helpful for solo players. Thanks for making it!

I ran this on my server with the captains chair mod and the general consensus with multiple people was the helms person preferred to have the three screens as it helped with navigation.

Nice! More QoL features are greatly appreciated! Its a stretch but it be nice if this was combined with your Captain's control. More options never hurt in solo or multiplayer mode. Thanks for making this game more playable.
