The mod still works in 1.5, but the CE version doesn't. It will still work as vanilla weapons

You can get a 1.5 version on Discord. Main reason I removed it from this was because lots of sprites were cut in the 1.6 version, and they'd just be taking up file space.

In fact, this pack is poorly researched by my standards. A lot of variants I would do nowadays are missing or incorrectly classified (for example, the Rolling Block rifles have inaccurate designations.)

its telling me for all the guns thaat the ammo and melee damage have not been patched for ce... i was just raided and the raiders had no ammo and could shoot forever. i cant see damage and details on ammo just says not patched.

i adore that this uses its own workbench. so many mods add a ton of guns to the workbench. This lets me add this to my stupid huge modlist.

You're in luck. The very next pack is Great War - Central Powers, and it has the MG-08/15 (and a couple other variants of it.)

I scour the web (a lot of what you see in the China pack came off of the Chinese internet) and have a collection of books with good references. I also made some friends with published firearms historians who know about tons of obscure things and provide me with references, even in weird places like patents.

How much research do you do on these? Not that I'm some kind of firearms expert, but a lot of the guns you have in the various packs I've never even heard of - the Chinese guns that had been re-chambered for Soviet calibers for example, were really interesting to me. I love it.

@logos411 That’s exactly correct - it’s mostly 1860s-1890s weapons.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I assume this is meant to span the years roughly between the ACW and WWI?

Funnily enough, that’s actually on my list of weapons for the “Wild West” pack. Not sure when that will come out but it’ll be in it.

I'm not sure if it counts, but if I may suggest a VEEEERY specific weapon...

the Smith and Wesson Model 320 revolving rifle (produced 1879-1887)

an example without its stock appeared in the pilot episode of Starsky and Hutch in 1975 in the hands of a hitman (where they used a...VERY distinct sound effect for it that I personally find cool sounding, but have never heard it since in any media, it can be heard in the shootout segment at the end of the episode or even the very beginning few minutes where the hitmen take out two occupants of a parked car)

what I find funny is there is a story that they only used the 320 in the pilot because they found one for dirt cheap at a pawn shop, and now they are one of the Most expensive and rare firearms one can find lol

I got that too out of nowhere, no idea what could have caused it. Pushing an update with a replaced image file to see if that fixes it.

For some reason I got a random flag about a trojan, wacatac , for file berdan model 1870 kinda of out of the blue seeing i was using the mod no problem for the last week

dont know why but this mod got flagged by windows as a trojan sorry not risking it

Yes, likely soon too. Nagant 1895 will be in WW1 - Eastern Front, which is scheduled to release after the next pack, Cold War - China & Vietnam.

hello, love the work you have on steam and i looked at the spreadsheet you have there was stuff i didn't know exist . do you have any plans on doing more obscure guns ie the pederson 1903,guns that were used by less involved nations in World War 1 and World War 2 like austro-hungary manlicher series rifles and grenade launching rifles

Yup, I have references for the LC Carbine & 5.7 stored away. As for the 395 that'll definitely fit well in a shotgun-focused pack.

Hello, Mr. Slippin', have you considered making the Ruger LC Carbine and the Ruger 57? Also, potentially the Mossberg Model 395? Some very fun and neat little firearms that I would love to see. Thanks so much for what you've given us already though, it's all super amazing! Keep up the good work!
