can u pls update the mod to 42,12 cuz the mod did not work with me with vanilla weapon not only mod

Broken for anything from Guns of 93 from my testing, The inspect menu wont open whatsoever after this most recent update (in 42.11, even if some mods didn't have full compatibility, the UI would still at least open and show some of the compatible attachments)

I tried and it works just fine for M16. Do you remember which weapon ran into that issue? Was it a modded weapon?

can you make it so it tells you what skill does each melee weapon use? I play with a lot of melee weapons mods and i can't tell sometimes when something is a long blade, long blunt or axe just by looking at it and since they share animations sometimes i don't realise it uses a different skill until I level up.

It already looking thru all of your equipped bags, I might do it if enough people want it to be a feature, I'm just a bit afraid that it would absolutely tank the performance from looking thru all the containers.

It'll be great if we could choose and add attachments from a nearby container, it's a bit annoying to look if I have or not that particular attachment in my base storage..

"Hold down the reload button and choose "Inspect Weapon". Choosing "Inspect Weapon" on any other weapon in your inventory or a world container will automatically try to equip it in your primary hand slot and inspect it"

This isn't exactly the case, at least not in the way it's stated here:

It is true that holding down the reload button will show a pop-up radial that will let one inspect the weapon they currently have equipped .

It is true that one can inspect weapons they do not have equipped, if they right click on the weapon in case, and use the pop-um menu on that weapon .

What is not true is the implication one can inspect a weapon they do not have equipped using the pop-up radial. This will always default to the equipped weapon, even if another weapon is currently selected from an inventory .

I'm sure the author knows this, and the miscommunication here was not intentional, just a poor choice of wording. It is however, a cool mod. I like this.

Please add a Multiplayer tag for your mod if it runs in multiplayer, otherwise it will not be visible in the filter when that tag is selected.

Fixed. As suspected, they changed encoding from windows-1251 to UTF-8 in B42. Let me know if any other languages broke in B42

Please fix Russian translation in B42, text look like "????? ??????". The encoding of the translation should be in utf-8 format.

Alright, due to popular demand, I added the ability to see attachments, magazines and screwdriver from backpack and bags. This is not an integration of "Simple Firearm Upgrade" mod, cause it's simpler to write my own code to work with my existing system, so there will be no need for subscribing that mod for this to work (Sorry, but not my intention to take away attention from that mod). Let me know if there's any bug.

@Caton_SPQR they are separate codebase, so it'd still work with B41.

Great mod!! It's very useful and I love the interface. I use it in a collection of +700 mods and it doesn't give any problems. But I also have the Tetris Inventory and this other one https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3373713774&searchtext=simple+firearm+ that allows you to add accessories while it is in the backpack next to the screwdriver. Well, close to you in any storage as another item. It's very convenient because the tetris has a very limited space and sometimes it doesn't let you add accessories for that very reason. Is there a possibility that you can do something similar? An option that adds this option, or compatible with that mod. In any case, thanks for your dedication and effort!

Yeah it's hard to trying figure out what people do differently with firearm mods. I'm waiting for B42 to drop to see how much I need to change, and how much other firearm mods are changing as well
