you should run uploadmod if you want to update the mod on steam workshop, or if you’re uploading it there for the first time, as for the overall order, "first" you launch the updatemod, this updates the main game files in the mod, then you modify the mod files how you want, then you run generatemod, this generates the mod from the files and the mod itself should now be playable in SP(since you’re the only one with the files), then, if you want to upload the mod on the workshop(or update it) you run the uploadmod
