I would love to play Bard more, but after a bit of playing I would ADORE an opener for every note type, and a minor frame reduction on each opener? With like, a hitstun reduction? Something to help get in to get notes :3

i love the custom note feature and this mod is great and i cant wait to pair it with multihustle to create a symphony, but i've been consistently unable to hit the a# in octave 2, it always plays 2 octaves too high.

very creative idea, lots of polish, very fun to resource-manage. once i got the hang of which note combinations gave me which effective threat ranges, bard became one of my all-time favorites. also, you can hit your enemy with flipped Major/Minor Chords which come out at 3F with wild hitboxes. don't tell the haters i shared this with you

@Marso: The piano UI lets you select an audible tone of your choice to play when you land an ability, instead of a randomized tone by default. The arrows let you go up and down octaves for vastly expanded tonal range. It's a optional feature for the actual musically-minded hustlers who want to manually play their own music during a fight.

It's good to see Bard is still getting work. Getting a character up to code with the block patch does wonders for modern play rates for these older characters.

3 Note songs were changed to be automatic when you play another song with 3 notes ready, yes.

I'm not sure if this is me or I'm not lining it up correctly but I can never do a 3 note song. Unless the effect is automatically there when you get all 3 notes

I cant click the bottom row of grand performance because the ui gets in the way great update tho thank you for nerfing the green note

You can either click the view button by 16 change notes under the character's portrait, or you can click the change notes tab at the very top

for some reason impregnable madrigal lasts Forever and turns you into prepatch robot if you gain it through grand performance???
its bar is emptied but doesn't actually go away, and it persists through even other songs being played

Some of the Ui elements, such as the pitch chooser, and grand performance choices are halfway ooff of the screen, making them unnacessable. Is there any way to fix this?

I can only seem to get bard to use the yellow note attacks when using grand performance\

Maybe change barcarolle of alacrity to a teleport or even an inst. teleport, or give it an effect like the cowboy's impale where you're instantly transported behind the foe before making your attack. A few of his songs are also very similar to the point of redundancy. Take, for example, fermata and grave. Both are sluggish projectiles that cannot be aimed and deal high damage and hitstun. You don't need two heavy projectiles with nearly identical properties. Maybe you could mix things up by making grave home like a wizard's lightning ball at the cost of making it even slower than before? You don't have to use that exact solution to make the character better, but just change things up and make a few songs less redundant.

Very fun but desperately needs either better mobility or better reach. I constantly find myself knocking opponents away after only a short, low-damage combo because of how short a lot of his attacks are. I do get that neutral might intentionally be one of his weaknesses for balancing reasons, but maybe just make a couple attacks fall just short of neutral range but still go far enough to act as combo extenders, or make the two blue basic attacks knock enemies towards you to bring them back into the combo.

I think the new update broke Bard, dash forward does nothing now. I think it's affecting a few characters but Bard is down bad
