if you don't wanna work too hard, you could look at the game night mod. might give you an idea on how to make it playable. really cool to see cards accurate of the time period

lord i wish you would collaborate with the people who make Game Night so we can use ur cards and sick deck boxes and actually play

There's a new MTG mod which allows you to play the game; this might be neat to integrate into it

So are these cards out in the world for us to find?

Could you add a map with the rules of magic the gathering? People could then play and learn in the game which would be fun!

I have been waiting to review this mod. I want it to be known I don't often leave reviews. This is hands down in my top 5 favorite mods. I am a big fan of magic the gathering, and this brings a whole new level of joy when I find a pack in this mod to open in game. I thought I would let you know that, you currently made my Really Bad Day Start win condition even harder, as I will not count a win until I make a full magic deck.

what does it actually do?

This is a great mod, I enjoy collecting the cards and even playing them sometimes lol don't have to be killing zombies all day to enjoy what life you have left.

@ maniac - There is if you want to open up the mod and look at the compiled list. I based them off the current prices for each card and put them in rarity cats that way.

is there a way to know what the loot rarity of each card or each group of card?

would it be possible to have the opened booster box be kept similar to card wrappers just for base decoration purposes? loving the amount of detail in this mod!

@ Zenaku, if you type binder into the crafter via B, you should see a second binder called finished binder, this is what you want to craft.

So, how do I put the cards in the binder? I have the cards and binder in my main inventory, but don't see anything about combining them in the crafting menu.

@sunny - combine all the cards in the binder via crafting menu (b by default I believe)

@Leemo - you have a chance to find a plush and balloon off zombie but its super super super rare and the rest of them are in toy stores.. or other locs you will have to look for!

I find packs randomly on zombies but where do you find stuff like the Baloons/Deck Holders/Boosters boxes?

@ExNeph - Its not to far out of scope and sounds like a dope idea. I am not a map modder but could defo look into it for future mod content as well or add-ons. I want to make this mod have meat on its bones so this is a real cool polish sounding feature for when I get the rest of the goodies and things I have in store in. Thanks for the feed back!

Ive been liiking for something like this, if that shuffle and draw function with deck building gets all done right and some more cards get added playing this legit in game would be amazing

So, this might sound a bit out of scope, however I have to bring it up. Much like how Authentic Z set up the Costume Shop (I think it was a forceful override of loot tables, highly unsure), would it be plausible to pick some random shops around the map and turn them into card shops? Granted, doing so might require users to start a new game, but just a thought. I mean, hell, nothing would bring some more nostalgia than stumbling across a game shop, complete with LAN room. Either way; the mod is awesome and I entirely endorse it.

@Gozkill - the 60 card deck thing is a issue and will be fixed when I push next update, Ty for the feedback.

Conflicts with the other card mod have been sorted. You may notice some items missing such as binders & booster boxes/packs. Sorry about this mix up, broccoli will do that to you. You will have to re find these items but you should have your cards ! and can enjoy them with some pkm too

In other good news I am working on a new loot distribution table that will help with future updates, overall organization and balanced loot distribs thanks to Panopticon for recommending this way!

Also prepping files for the next add-on and update.. Sound is around the corner and some other little debbie snacks. We need translations still, if you would like you help with that you can reach out via the forum or contact me here.

It's really weird to open up an MTG pack and get a Nidoking from it.

Huh, with mine, it makes it so that these booster packs give me Pokemon cards instead.

@guimarian, There is no conflict arguments in my mod and the other mod. You should have no issues running them both. Did you install on current save?..If you do some testing let me know whats conflicting so I can fix, ty!

Hi, I think this mod corrupted the other card game mod that I use, simply makes the booster packs for your mod to release the cards but when I open the other booster card, pokemon tcg for instance, the cards don't appear and it still increases the encumbrance in the backpack. I didn't try yet to unable one mod at time to see if this is the problem. Just to let you guys know! Great content by the way.

Mate don't erase the mod id that gets automatically added to the post. Then server admins need to open the mod.info to get the id and generally makes adding the mod a pain in the butt

May I ask what is the original size of the image in your pack? I want to learn from

@defuse They're actually decently common, I got about two packs within, say, 100 kills
Assuming that's normal, means they're about 1 in 50, which is pretty fair to me honestly

Oi @IamWulf you should definitely roll with separate mods for more cards, maybe make unique variants that can only be found once per world? Would be sick.

@NeroZero - Bruh, dun worry I got more cards planned.. How would you like these to be delivered?.. One mod multiple card packs? (file size may increase 1-200mb) or keep the main mod as is (alpha) and release add-ons ?
