Thank you. This was my main concern. Because I've seen that the game stops rendering them at a certain distance (about 1km), I've never tried a city with a custom sim and I was wondering if it had an impact on performance. Probably the LOD starts very early (although I don't have the option to set it to Ultimate level of detail), but vanilla auto LODs aren't always performing

I have tested my cims in a large city and it doesn't slow it down using custom cims. Many buildings have 10,000+ tris. The cims are so tiny that the LOD render distance is short, so I don't think it has a big effect on game speed when you use custom cims.

I don’t want to put that on all of my assets, so I typically don’t. I believe the model is approx. 900 tris. I let the game auto generate the LOD. 1024 texture. Also, don’t worry about how many Cims they will be. The game only renders those within a certain distance from the camera.

OH Yes great work! Can you tell us what the tree count/lod tree count? Becous for citizen it's important considering we are going to have thousand of them...
