I remember there's this website where you can get files from source games to fix the missing textures problem. I cant find it tho.

@Stranded Melancholy Either right-click on the game or on the gear-icon, click properties, click betas, then finally, where it says "none", click that and switch it to, "CS:GO-LEGACY", finally return to Gmod and launch the game.

I have 2 thing i wanted to ask the first is that i did notice on a video about lost maps talking about how some saves show the pit having walk ways you know the ones that go around the whole pit and second i kind of want a reference to helluva boss if you cant add the reference thats fine but at the walkway.

Okay I checked ICEBIRD112, apparently they are part of the dev team of Black Mesa Blue Shift. he is still active, maybe we could ask him to re release the map if he still has it.

I can't remember how deep the pit was, as the last time I played it was like 2019? I'd say as far as the recreation goes you got the depth right.

So, I was one of several people who made a save file on the original the_pit. Years later I came back looking for it and was shocked to see it had vanished. Glad to see a recreation of it!

That feature is from the lost the_pit map. The walls cannot go any further as it hits the map border.
