Yeah, update; this mod will crash your game in its current version (as of December 10, 2025). If your game is crashing, very likely because of this one mod.

This mod seems to not work as of 1.2.10. Any attempt to use the mod settings on MCM causes a crash upon exiting the mod options menu. However the mod's source code is available on github, so if one is inclined they could update this mod.

Did a recent update disable a number of the fine-tuning options? I could've sworn there used to be options to do stuff like disable it having a chance to change the unit cards when recruiting. Some documentation on what each setting does would also be greatly appreciated.

Regardless, this is a good lightweight mod for those that want to have armies include some women without needing to bloat and duplicate the number of troops around. Well done!

As far as I know, once a town is conquered, the original batch of recruits will remain, the new recruits from the new culture will start spawning once the old ones right before conquest are recruited.

This mod causes a conquered settlement to display recruits from the original owner's faction instead of the new one, any idea how to change that?

@Wolf: it does load with it, but if a female troop from the mod gets promoted to a hero, they will turn into a male, unless they were a sword sister mercenary which are default troop you can hire from taverns.

Women are terrible combatants, thankfully this mod lets me set their numbers to zero across the board

@Volsung Actually female warriors for Sturgia and Khuzait would be pretty good. Vikings had shieldmaidens while Mongolic/Turkic cultures had horse-archer women. So, it's not a bad mod after all.

Speak for yourself Volsung. I love the idea of running an entire army of Sturgian shieldmaidens.
