Man... is there a guide to this madness? I'm on Truth and reconciliation and even spawn kiling all humans for an hour doesn't seem to give me any progression! What the hell am I supposed to do? Protect that Grunt on that turret? Ok fine... but at the somepoint, shouldn't it end?

i have a idea for this mod maybe a two sided mod side one you play as a grunt side two you play as a Maine the game saves your play style as the grunt and adds it in when you play as the maine so you have to fight yourself

DaRkReaper626, I appreciate the criticism. This mod was our first mod originally for Xbox and meant to simulate online play with respawn. If you don't like respawn I suggest you try Jackal's Journey, which has enemies dropshipped in. The only downside are the lengthy cutscenes.

And also if you decide to put a cap on how many enemy's and allies spawn, do not have the UNSC outnumber my allies please and thank you for taking the time to read my comments.

When I play Halo 2, what annoys me the most is re-spawning enemy's but this pile of #### of level design and encounters is the worst experience I ever dealt with. Infinite spawning allies and foes??? What are you thinking? Yes grunts run away from enemy's but not towards and past 80% of encounters/levels. This mod would be a 10/10 but the re spawning foes and allies kills my experience. 0/10 sorry.

yeah, I noticed after two minutes that only the precision weapons are in first person, but it would have been nice to be able to choose with “tab” like when switching between original and remastered graphics. The mod is neat anyway.

Jesse, first-person is for precision weapons only. There is no way as of yet to choose your colour unless you mod it yourself. I think the Grunt Player has his own textures for this purpose.

can you add a way to choose what type of grunt to play as? Like green grunts, blue grunts, red grunts, ect.

I have to say that I agree with some of the comments here, the respawning marines is too much, specially that they spawn with the BR55 Rifle and forcing me to stay behind, while this was supposed to be a good thing, it doesn't let me progress properly because of the respawning marines, and the fact that the respawn timer seems to be too short

For the first mission, bring the last enemy squad down to zero and the mission will complete. It's like this on Silent Cartographer ending too. This mod was originally meant on run on Original Xbox, so it has some kinks in it.

I feel it would be fun if enemies didn't have BS respawns. I deleted after I saw marines spawning right in front of me several times after clearing a squad...

I will echo bmwnugget with saying the infinite (and instant) respawning on BOTH sides is very annoying. Just makes it feel like I'm a fly with a gun zooming around the ship with no direction. If I have a purpose on the PoA, I don't know what it is. Because I go straight to the bridge to fight Keyes as any insane Unggoy would do, but he just doesn't die. Even the crew on the bridge take an entire magazine of M6 SMG ammo to the face and just shrug it off.
This is a good concept, poorly executed.

In Mission 5 where I have to split up from the others (in original from Fire Team Zulu) these doors are locked.

this mod needs some serious fixes totally anoyying how the marines keeps respawning

it's a really nice campaign but the enemies won't stop respawning and on certain levels (TSC is a massive one) the game slows to a crawl due to all the crap on screen. It's an excellent mod but it needs more cutscene transitions that are smoother (the second level just plain ends) and player guidance (I got lost in the first level and had no idea what to do in the second, right now I'm on TSC and stuck in an endless war)

needs work but it's fun and functional. Please add another class to play as, the grunt is ok but I'd like to play as a jackel or elite please. Please do Halo 2 3 and 4 with PROPER intros

The jackal one also has stopped working, is anyone else having this issue? they both ALMOST finish loading, and then it freezes.
