Yeah letting wastepack can be eaten cause so many problems, I've give up trying to fix it. so there's a not edible version linked below
Yep, eating it will directly increase toxic buildup, regardless of bionic or gene, thus one can't rely on a tox immune pawn to eat all wastepacks.
...Later I will change wastepack to 0 nutrient value so it will disappear from pawn's dinner menu, no one will get hurt from eating it by mistake forever.

That sounds cool. But sadly it seems cannot be realized in pure xml and I'm not familiar with c# modding, so I can't add this effect :(
If you think the recipe is somewhat op, you can customize it, like extend its workAmount or else.
I may not do so. I expect refining as another way other than to deal with: weaken its harm and just throw away. It is weird that refined wastepack can still be dealt, why not atomize/cremate the unrefined one?
