@Michael Post Gaming, I had the textures all exported using some Max Payne Unpacker exe I found on moddb, and then Dragon Unpacker to export the files to jpgs. Building the map however, I had the mobile version of the game opened on my desk (thank god for it containing cheats so I can open whichever level I want). Through that, I just kinda guestimated the map together, and it worked pretty well honestly, imo.

btw how do you make these and how do you get the maps

@skuzad25, Idk if they'll show up in the folder for you, but I saved them to models/props/ and then three different folders named maxpayne1, maxpayne, and maxpanye1.

i'm hoping one day the address unknown ride gets ported, that was my favorite level from the second game

@Contro, No problem, also if it's possible, if MaxEd has a grid on its editor like Hammer and Blender, you could copy the exact grid measurements of the map and just rebuild it. It'd probably take a little while, but it is possible to do, it's what I used for an unreleased Postal 2 map port I did, since PostEd uses grids.

Damn, that's commendable. I have the map files for Roscoe St. Station, but the only way so far that i figured out how to use it is with MaxEd, and that doesn't have a simple 'export as obj or fbx' etc.
I'll keep looking around - thanks for your input.

@Contro, I played the game on mobile and just built it brush by brush while looking at both screens, the only thing ripped straight from the game was the textures, and models were put together on my own using Propper. There could be a way, but as far as I know, the map files for the levels don't exist for a lot of the game if I remember correctly (Not including Roscoe St.)? So almost all of it will most likely have to be done by 3D tracing.

How'd you manage to rip maps for MP1? I've been trying to figure out how to rip Roscoe Street Station and get it into Blender but i can't seem to find a clear way of doing it.
