Regarding the game - there is a modding wiki on https://www.transportfever2.com/wiki/doku.php?id=modding which is a good place to start. There is also a german speaking community on transportfever.net and sometimes you will get an answer in english.
The whole cargo spreading over station thing is a messy code that is spread over several files as the whole modular station feature is a really messy one. As far as I love the game, UG coding style is pretty terrible to read. I actually wanted the platforms to be much lower, but the cargo position is weirly 'hardcoded' in a manner that untangling it would take me too much time.
Can you point me to any good resources in how to learn LUA and mod the game by myself? I have some ideas and needs, and sincerely, it's starting to get tiresome to ask other people to do it for me. I'm in the process of career change, from PC maintenance to web development, and I already have some basic knowledge of algorithms and coding in general. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks. =)
It will spread load all over the station :)
Right now, train cargo platforms only use half of their capacities, even if there are tracks only in one side of it.
I think it would fit better for era A
If you can make one with them you can make a copy and remove them !
