it's such a cool sub, but I just can't get the drone working, rather, disabling real sonar does allow me to turn it online and I get to control it, but I just don't understand the control scheme, how the hell do you switch between control and firing mode?
I did it, three times, and all three times were mashing random ass keys from 1-9 and sometimes (and I don't know what defines the sometime) they do swap between modes, but more often than not it doesn't

What the hell is this?

Sorry for the late comment, but is there a fix as to why the submarine "Wobbles" violently? Like it can't stay still and moves left-to-right, even if the sub is set on Maintain Position

The Drone doesn't actually "exist" correctly within the mod. I did some digging and the WIFI channels for the drone and transducers are not the same; and the drone itself is not part of the package. I had to add it manually from the original mod (Probably why the WIFI channels on my end were wrong but I thought I'd mention that anyway just in case.)

It doesn't have any locomotion. Adding the drone back in; and triple checking the wifi channels fixed it.

i think it might just be that the shuttle navigation terminal isn't supported by real sonar even though they're vanilla. Any chance you'd consider swapping the bridge controls to a different sonar terminal? My crew and i passed over this ship only because of the real sonar thing.
The ship really is super nice otherwise, we especially liked the ballast safety feature for real sonar.

I've had to mess with the wiring on this one to fix that. Take a multiplier component and a memory component and place them in the room with the 2 engines. Take the wires that dictate engine force and run them through the multiplier component and set the memory as your % to reduce the output as necessary.

I've heard of issues with that mod before. Never used the mod but shaking basically means the engines are too powerful for the game's autopilot. Ask on the mod page to see if there's a solution there. Alternatively if you are familiar with wiring you might be able to multiply the engine's input by like 0.7 or something to nerf it.

mod by this subs OG creator and engine upgrades have made the auto hold postion shake the ship and seems the sub is hard capped to 30kph any idea or help?

You don't have to restart the campaign, just buy the sub again at a station. You can cheat in money if you like (I mean it's the same sub, just with some minor fixes). I think bots in general have been really stupid since the update, I'm having issues with them suffocating themselves in diving suits with no tanks lately.

Not really planning on fixing more subs rn, these are pretty much just subs I fixed so I could use them in my campaign.

Any plans to update some of the EKM subs like "EKM Stiletto Mk-V"?
Mainly asking since the new and up-to-date mod: "EK Mods for 1.x.x.x" has fixed a lot of things with all the EK mods.

I gotta say that is a bit sad, but i can't say im not used to it. For this specific campaing i bought the Typhon as my second sub, so yea im kinda used to bots being broken bc of the waypoints lol

well, ty anyway, aparently i found the problem, they were trying to reload the guns on the periscopes, since usually the stock loader position is by the periscope's side, so maybe that can be it. But ty for your time man! i really apreciate it, its still a really nice sub and i hope you keep improving it and making more! <3

Alright I tweaked the waypoints again and opened a campaign and they were able to reload all 6 without issue. If it doesn't work now idk. Also the game doesn't update subs after you purchase them, so you will have to re-purchase to get the latest version.

F3 -> enablecheats -> money 20000

Bots can't reload the guns so kind of ended by solo campaign by spending everything I had on this vessel.

I don't have any that alter AI, i only have the Exosuit plataform, some weapon mods and this is pretty much the only sub mod i have installed. You see, after 1.0 some of the waypoints for bots just dont work, that's what's causing so much headache to Typhon lovers (such as myself :C ) but maybe placing the waypoints closer to the weapon plataforms will do it? idk man

Had a similar issue but from what I noticed it was only the loaders on top.

Hey uh, i think the AI pathing is still not working properly, you see, bots say they "Can't reach the coilgun loader" with the og 4 coilguns of the sub, maybe the pathing is glitched like the typhoon?

Fear the drone alarm, for it's wrath is arbitrary and not easily silenced

The alarm is caused by water in the drone. Repair the drone, then turn it on (power mainline) so the pumps empty it. Then you can turn it off / recharge it etc.
Sometimes at stations it bugs just dock/undock the drone and the big door and it should go away.

How do I do to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ drone alarm to shut the ♥♥♥♥ up every time the hatch gets damaged by 0.1 points or whatever it makes it go off

ngl I haven't really used any mods yet, so no idea. You could try editing the engine to be weaker in the editor I guess? It was pretty strong to start tbf. I don't think it will carry over to your campaign though, so you might have to edit it and then purchase your edited version in your campaign.

After full engine upgrade drone gone crazy and now it moves like a cruise missile and never stays still. Is there any way to fix that?

It should be included in the list of ships, its like "berith drone MKVI attempt 2" or something. I honestly just ripped all the logic out of another periscope drone on the workshop and plugged it into the berith one.

Hi, i used a drone from the original Berith in one of my projects but unfortunately i couldn't make the periscope control and when i saw this remake i thought i could take it from there but in the list of ships in the editor i couldn't find this drone and i would be grateful if i knew in which folder i can find it

fr I don't get it. Loaded it into a campaign and was immediately assaulted by containers full of every conceivable resource. A lot of EK's stuff is broken too since they are waiting for 1.0 to update them. Anyway, enjoy lol.

No idea why there are so many subs, but noone gives a ♥♥♥♥ to make them campagin compatible.
