I finally took the time to modify this map. Now, the AIs no longer get stuck. However, due to their design, they tend to keep a lot of troops in their bases until the first battles begin. During the game, they will also leave many troops near key points and advance more slowly. There's nothing I can do about that, but the map is now even more fun. Enjoy!

The Canyon is a little bit so small for tanks =( please make Vision 2 with a bigger way =D

This map doesn't with AI. The retreating and advancing units get stuck in the narrow river crossings and you just end up with one side or both sides having massive traffic that stops all units from getting to the front and no way to resolve. Only play with humans who can manually resolve the pathing issues, even then it ain't easy.

Handsome & cool map. Unlike below I have found the AI handles this map well. My only request is stop forcing the Victory Point scenario. People will play what they want; but by forcing it, when I restart the map in game, it changes the settings to victory point. When I play a map after, I find the Victory Point setting has stayed. A wee bit annoying to be honest.

Any chance of increasing the size of the map? Just attach another S to the river with two small towns and a small city maybe at the top of the map before you get the enemy's base, just my thought's, this map is sick!!

Bridges work fine but there are several paths to narrow and cause pathing issues/traffic jams that stalemate the map. Also the placement of some civilian buildings like on the western middle side by a fuel point blocks sight on the ridge/cliff so units cant see even when the building is destroyed.

@BlacKcud thx for u'r message, i change the ressource income but for the pathfinding and the bridge i can do nothing because is not a map problem but relic bugs on ia and bridge asset (i have tested all vehicule on bridge and nothing hapen for me) and for the path with no vehicules is my choice to change the gameplay possibilities

After playing that map two times with 3 friends I must say that I like the idea of the layout and the visuals, however there are some big problems with the map:

- many units can't cross the bridges. this needs fixing
- overall the map is too tight. there are several paths where vehicles cant fit
- overall resource amount is too low
- AI pathfinding is completely overwhelmed and doest work well

@Trackerere yes ia pathfinding was really problematic but is relic problem , i can do nothing for this...

fab map mate, had to abandon the game halfway due to the traffic pile up on the first bend haha i guess relic forgot to tell the ai to use bridges and stuff

@dzieckowojny thx for u'r coment , yes i wan't to recreate oasis atmospher in this map. The biggest problem is the deficient pathfinding of the ia i hope relics patch that quickly. And for the red tape is the new standard line of limit in tutorial ^^

@Jordan the Magic Manboy Thx for all , i look to add possibilities to play with victory point. and yes i like to create different gameplay with the level design. Is important to use truck and medic like in reality with logistic chain. Is good map for british and DAK and artillery is necessary for counter the defense!

Hey :)

Map is a jewel, for minutes I was just sightseeing the canion (at x47, y172 they are shooting new Indiana Jones).

Very climatic ligthning (camo on units seen only in shadow where the sun is not so cruel).

Surprisingly in match with few ai, 500 pop, modded up res only one ally ai stuck on brige (truck towing a gun) & 3 equipment blocks - considering canion's climat it was fun to man them up so to clean the way.

There is a red tape on map ending lines... but it looks good for me ;)

However, if you're able to take the offensive & overwhelm the front line you should be able to keep up the momentum; the map is very long so a general route of enemy infantry means they have a long run back to base and then a long walk back.

US with a captain would be a good idea, the retreat is morale shattering and if you're not the US you're really going to want to avoid the R key. You should instead choose reinforce with medical trucks/halftracks. If it's unavoidable, you should use transports to get your infantry around. I'd recommend giving this map a shot, and if you don't like it's size or how narrow the lanes are, it probably just isn't for you.

Really fun map, I don't know how well this would work in a 4v4, but in a 2v2 it was a blast to play. It felt like a campaign map fighting against expert AI with my bud, moving up, digging in, counterattacking, and then making the final assault on the enemy HQ. You definitely put thought into making the map balanced with how it's mirrored. It doesn't offer much in the way of maneuver warfare beyond the occasional bridge/shallow crossing between river sides, so player be warned. Also, there are no victory points on this map to be found: you're playing annihilation.

Because it's two lanes (left & right side of the river) it's really easy to heavily fortify. I imagine that in PVP it's mostly going to come down to who has the stronger defensive line built up to hide behind upon a failed attack, or a one-punch knockout victory in the beginning. I believe that is going to favour Wehrmacht & Afrika Korps players.

@SPF oui le pathfinding des ia est un gros problème sur le jeu en général , j'ai hâte que ce soit un peu corriger parcques meme sur des map de relics ça leurs arrives de bugger

Ah ! merci pour tout sa je vais y jeté un oeil ! Et je veux bien te croire quand tu dis que ça as était long a faire !

Je viens de faire un 4 vs 4 sur ta map et y a juste une chose mais sa pas ta faute si les BOT sont abruti, y a un coin ou c'est tellement étroit que ca créée un bouchon entre la falaise et la rivière.

Sinon j'aime le concept, ça fait une bonne map :steamthumbsup:
