Cuomo, I just wanted to say thank you for everything you’ve already given to CK3. Your work, especially the compatch, is still absolutely essential for many of us. The game just doesn’t feel the same without it. Real life always comes first, and it’s totally understandable that you need to step back. I still hope you’ll be able to continue the best mod for my favorite game someday. Whatever you manage to do in the future is just a bonus, your legacy in the community is already guaranteed.

Hello, I saw you were going to be stopping regular updates on this compatch but have done most of the coding to update besides bug fixes. Would you ever consider uploading what is done to githup or something for those of us that don't mind fixing our own game when we come across a bug. Thanks for all the work you put into this.

Ehhhh…it’s likely going to be a while. I’ll give some info when I have the chance. 1.18 has presented a lot of problems which I and many other modders are having trouble with, hence, why so many mods are delayed or not functioning correctly.

the mod isn't updated yet for 1.18 and may refer to deprecated or removed mods, which will cause problems if you try to add the JSON right now - best to wait for a while unitl this mod is updated and there are several key dependencies the author is waiting for, so it is difficult to predict exact timing. It will be worth the wait though, the author does a great job with this.

Quick update…expected release for the Special World mod is tomorrow. Then it will be Early Bookmarks and the Super Compatch shortly thereafter.

Note: I am taking Holy Roman Triumph out of this mod set due to functional issues, however, if you want to try to use it, load it after this mod.

I'm going to try to work around RICE updating but to be honest, there's a couple of other mods that need to update such as Culture Expanded. I'm working on it though and have done most of the heavy coding fixes.

@cuomo860 I do not envy you. With RICE not updated I had to strip off a bunch and eventually gave up and just created my own modlist. Medieval Arts kept throwing errors not sure if that's normal btw.

@Mr. Phero Nope, I've already updated stuff and i've actually stripped it down to only reflect changed amounts from vanilla.

FYI, we're probably looking at the end of the week for an update. Additionally, Early Bookmarks will no longer require MPE. In the future, the MPE compatch will include the updates needed for Early Bookmarks.

muslim enhancements has some impeccable character history in the middle east and copying it would solve the weird amalgamation of Quraish dynasty houses which are mish mashed and weidly distributed in your compatch(it copied MB+ and gets carried over when using Vanilla and MPE playsets).

nice, in that case I would suggest you to give another chance to Muslim Enhancements as the bugs are being dealt with better than before and check out the mod harem politics as soon as it updates as it not only complete the palace politics expected of a China/Japan gameplay but also a muslim playthrough.

I'm actually working and focusing on the Vanilla playset, as you're right MPE is going to be a nightmare.

It's going to be a bit before I get an update out.

Seeing the new expansion of the map, you should consider perhaps giving a little bit more thought to the playset with Vanilla map since both MB+ and MPE will definitely be a nightmare for performance even on high end computers.

AUH new cultures character names are badly incosistent at best, perhaps this should include mods improving names e.g. Japanese Names mod etc, not sure if CE will get that done anytme

Understood, will add bug observations to the discussions tab! Sorry for the oversight.

On issue 1, nope, it was several completely new campaigns played over the course of last week and the weekend so no old "old" savegame. Issue 2, the tradecenters do not appear as built in the settlements in question, but as a general building option that you could build in any holding, i.e. like stables or a smithy, etc. I've seen the option in Barcelona 1066 start date and the same in Palermo, also 1066 startdate. Both times I have the option to build it, but it won't build whether I have the money or not, simply won't "fire" when clicking the button. 4&6 correct, ws using the cultural armies mod, but all the updates since 2024 make it unusuable and I've always loved that one most. Will delete and see if it makes a difference.

Assume this is due to the addition of all asia, but my game seems to run slower then normal (expected) but also freeze suddenly just stuck on the same date for like a few minutes?

Anything to do about it or should i just live with it?

1. Not having that issue. If it's an old save it may not be compatible.
2. Sounds like an old version of one of your mods or a load order issue. Tradecenters should be blocked. Tell me a date and a specific county.
3. On the language issue that's intended, that is the Franconian name of the HRE...it's owner is Franconian.
4&6 sound like your using an old or separate armies mod that no longer is functional. You may have an out of date mod that isn't downloading correctly.

4. Had issues creating a normal de-jure duchy title, similar like the tradecenter issue, nothing would happen when clicking despite all conditions being met

5. In 1066 startdate era the pope would declare the first crusade against Xenxir in Southern Spain instead of Jerusalem

6. Gallowglass ("Galolaigh") warriors available to Iberian cultures, Jinete (Iberian Cavalry unit) available to Swabian culture

If I see any other bugs/issues, will report them.

A few bug observations, can't say for sure whether they're caused by the compatch or not. Hope they can help though in fixing:

1. Can not continue to play a previous savegame, gameclient crashes every time when trying to load a previous campaign, as far as I can tell none of my mods updated in the past 3-4 days.

2. I see the tradecenter line of buildings available to build for 200 G in many or most of my holdings, but can't actually build it, can click the button many times over, game does react to trying to build that anywhere even if I have the money for it.

3. Language issues: upon starting a new game as Barcelona ("Barchinona") many other realms in Western Europe had their names in some Nordic/Scandinavian language (can't say exactly which one) --> HRE was named "Helag Romises Riik"

@cuomo860 no, it's more like you maybe missed the minority promotion mechanic at all.. Like, it's impossible to promote any minority, it only declines. I tried multiple scenarios and characters, and it's all the same. That's what I meant.

Many Fixes for Issues
Updated JSONs. Removed Schemes Expanded
I still may need to do a little bit of work on this.
Extra Bookmarks has many fixes and The Last Kingdom added in.
*If you see an issue with disappearing artifacts, delete the ub_special_buildings_effects file this adds many UB+ buildings. I'm tracking down this issue.

There is a mod called Immersive Holdings that refreshes the ordinary holdings in Europe from basic models to more unique ones. Have you seen this, and what are your thoughts on adding it?

@cuomo860 Does your super compatch include the extra compatches for More Holding Graphics (MHG) (if I understood correctly MHG is now part or your overall Super Compatch) to work with other mods? I.e. MHG + RICE, MHG + RICE + EPE, MHG + CFP, MHG + CE? Also does your compatch also touch on Unified UI?

Just wanted to give a heads up as there hasn't been an update on here for a bit. I'm working on a pretty significant functionality update and I have most everything fixed up, except minority stuff. I want to get something out as soon as possible, hopefully sometime within the next week.

I've noticed many titles are "theXXX". No "the" capitalization or space. For example, the papal states is "thePapal States" or 867 Italy and Lotharingia is "theFrankish Empire".
