A sporecat will only restore 1/4 of its food points when eating fruit and batflies.
Bat flies can be killed with spore balls, but you can understand that the amount is too small to be full.

does batflies counts as insect?

Loved this mod! It is super well done. I finally had my revenge against centepides ;)

I really liked how when grabbed by predators, slugcat releases a spore cloud! it gives the gameplay a very realistic touch, since some creatures irl have similar escape tactics (not really a spoiler, but marking it as such just in case someone wants to go in blinds but for some reason is reading the comments jhahah).

I will be looking forward to updates! Thanks for sharing this with the community ;)

That's fair enough! I'll check in every once in a while so I can see when this gets updated! (This is my favorite slugcat, and sort of also the only campaign I've played because I wanted to start by playing it... Still, I love playing as sporecat and made an edit of the sporecat with a pair of old chemistry goggles on and an image of him standing in the waterfront facility image which I use as the background for the game because to me it looks like the place you start the game when playing as him (I know you don't actually start in waterfront facility, but the artwork looks like the place you do start in, to me))

Thanks for making such an awesome mod, without it, I might not have been willing to try out rain world! (I love playing alchemists/scientists/poison-related-things/etc... in games, and you're mod is that but for Rain World frfr. Also the sporecat is adorable and I call him the λpothecary, y'know, like a medieval apothecary!)

I do believe the spores weigh players down. I jump less high with more spores on my tail. I don't know if you can fix this, but please do. It annoys me for some reason.
