The West Germanic people like the English & Saxons were typically more often Vikings during this period then the North Germanics, whose maritime culture seemed to be influenced by West Germanic
Look up the Sutton Hoo (East Anglian) ship. It offers us a good idea as to what West Germanic ships at the time looked like. It was basically an early Viking longship, but the boat is deeper & has a roof instead of a sail
There is more of these ships found around the late roman & early migration era & it seems to be that the only adopted the sail around the 8th century. The sail was spread by the Norse to the English by the 9th century & King Alfred rapidly built a fleet said to be more impressive then Denmarks. The quick adoption of the sail from Norse contact was likely because the English & Saxons were basically using the same boats to begin with
This is likely because the North Sea Germanics were fishing cultures who were more individualistic then other Germanic tribes according to Tacitus

@Bababooyey I have tried the skins with terminus and radious but I will say alone with Terminus the Germanic skins mess up pretty bad

I do run other mods, but they change stuff for the campaign. The only reskin mods I use are yours.
Anyway, it's really not a big deal. I just wanted to point it out because I found it funny.

For Rome 2 I can only thing of the AAA mods. Aging, Advancing, Acclimatizing.

That's probably too big of an ask since it's a lot of work for general ages, weather etc. But just the Advancing part so a Level 0 General looks more plain compared to a 5 Star General who would have more prestige and money.

I could see if I could make something of it for future updates, do you got any particular mods from Rome 2 in mind for this? I probably would need some inspiration on how I could implement it

One of Attila's strengths is seeing generals evolve, something only emulated by the AAA mods in Rome 2. I remember earlier versions of this mod maintaining some level of general progression.

Jute leader doesn't even have a cape and gets mogged by Danr and his Dane drip. Visual variety is fine and all but not at the cost of seeing how experienced a general is by his model.

yeah so on my mods they dont level up in terms of gear. My perspective is that since they are a general to begin with they should have the best gear at the start. Instead, different generals dress differently, this maintains variety.

Do generals no longer change their appearance upon leveling? I remember in Vanilla they would get more gear, capes etc with experience.

Sheilds need ornaments, and they need to be big, flat and round. Nordic style. (they even had rules on it).

Chosen warriors i think, sorry i am spanish and i dont know the correct names. But i am sure there is something left in the mod, i am testing now the "Jutes" faction. Many axes and swords are missing

Twinsen, I cant find any unit for Norsemen that have noble swordsmen or noble lancers. Are you sure you don't got some mod that adds units to the game? Perhaps you mean chosen warriors or Nordic warlord? Saxon lancers?

Yes I have all your mods. i think it is because there is model that is lacking, variantmeshes definitions are right but some swords models are missing. Thank you for this mods :steamthumbsup:

Please Help¡ this is best mod ever but i tried everything, many spears and swords are invisible. i have some experience in modding but i dont know why this is happening

Hey, great job on getting them fixed so quickly. I also noticed a similar but smaller issue with the Heroic Cavalry; some of the men in that unit don't have their helmets and appear Bald.

These reskins look excellent. One thing I noticed though, the men in the Saxon Lancer unit don't hold up their lances which seem to be a bug.

Still missing on the spear men, and the axe men as mentioned earlier are actually fine. It's just the spear men that still have missing textures on their legs.
