hope one day you make more portal gmod maps

I see the "ERROR" sign all over the spawn area and in the other parts of the map. I have both portal games installed and linked to Gmod, so what am I doing wrong?

This map is amazing! I am surprised that such an optimized map is not used in any rp project.

You might not have the content mounted properly, or might have some addon that is interfering in the mounting process of the content.

I would bet is most likely the first, good luck, hope this helps your issue. (if for some reason you still have it after 1 month + lel sry again)

i have portal 2 and css, but dont have texture

@Match Nope, but the basic layout of the spawn area is certainly inspired by PS:Mel. It's all built up from scratch tho.

You need to be able to load them up on the gmod level editor (hammer), there is a file called "mount.cfg" where you can put the game folder path i oder for that to happen, i suggest you look further on google, is rather long to explain how to do and I am not able to do it rn.

No, I mean how did you get the models to work in the map that you made?

@Garfield if you own p2 Normally all you have to do is click on the games list on the main menu in the bottom right corner where you need to check the box to mount the content.

@ ROGΞR Sry dude, from the short experience with this map I can see that build a test chamber that I would de satisfacted in shipping seems like a potential nightmare, if the p2/gmod integration ever gets better, I'll might give it a shot.

@NikaGT Reffer to the description for an explanation regrarding that in the gmod sphere, from portal 2 this sections are from my portal 2 mappack,"THE LONE FUTURE STARTER" link on the bottom of the description if you feel like giving it a look

@Sejievan aah, that'd explain it. I'd started wondering if my computer is cursed.

@Garfiled Imo there is indeed a lack of some good portal 2 maps for Gmod, take your time tho, don't hurry ;)

@Disappointment I gave it a look, I believe it might be from L4D2, I forgot I have it mounted on gmod hammer cfg, might have used thinking it's from CSS or HL2, gonna confirm and might just change the model for something else, I've made a discussion thread where you folks can post images of any bug, or weird behavior you guys might find.

I'm going to make a Portal map too.

Looks nice!, too bad I don't have all the content.

Now I'm just mildly annoyed. I've shut off all my addons to confirm that I am missing something, but I have no clue what it could possibly be. I've got CS:S, CS:GO, HL2, E1, E2, Lost Coast, even the 2 deathmatch sources. I'm losing my mind since this map looks amazing and it's only missing a few things for me.

Ahh, I was going to try to find the credits room, but I'm too afraid of No Clipping. No problem, maybe I should make a discussion for any other bugs that may be found, I'll keep looking, this is a fun map.

The strange room is just the credits lol, a throwback to some old rp maps I've played over the years, but yea, PS:Mel heh, about the missing texture thanks for reporting, I'll wait for more stuff to pile up first, to not need to keep pushing tiny fixes all the time.

Know what's a defining feature that sets this apart from other portal maps? It has a thumbnail lmao. But seriously this is a very nice and neatly put together map, I did find one thing, after you go down, on the body level of offices, if you look through the window, you can see through the bottom of an office outside the playable area.
Was the inspiration for the spawn, Portal Stories:Mel? Sorry that's all I can think of, unless you mean the strange room you see before you spawn.

If this is the same map I tried some time back & gave up on as it was lagging like heck, I sure hope this version's a lot better performance-wise.
