bad news, mile is not gonna update this

maybe it would be easier for him to update this considering he already updated «fog of war» mod. whatever his answer will be, the community already owes him a lot. we all should chip in and donate some. every second player here has at least a dozen of mods updated with his help.

i am going to ask mile to continue this mod

I hate being THAT guy, but I hope to see an update for this, it made fights feel so much more real. Especially with CE.

Fork/port, the devs updating it, I just hope to see it.

NWN fog of war is a good replacement for the time being, might actually be better too ngl

Legendary mod

fist of all, love this mod, adds a new level of difficulty and fear to combat, but I've noticed it not working with rimthunder vehicles, any chance of a known fix for this or a planned fix in the future? the turret gets a single square of vision and then nothing else, I think because the vehicle blocks los it also blocks its own vision

o7 to the modders who made this, if it's abandoned could you confirm? Was a really good mod.


For those looking for 1.6 replacement, I've been using 'Better Raider AI' in the meantime. Now quite like CAI5000 but better than normal RW AI.

for those who're trying to ressurect it, maybe it would be easier to make two separate mods out of it for the sake of sustainablilty. we already have a mod that does for of war, so maybe rewriting this one is a unneded work (don't know, just a hypotesis). personally, I'm waiting for an update just for the sake of better raids, but maybe the raid logic uses the fog of war too. also, as we can see in the feature list it does some «raytracing» etc… these things shouldn't be a part of a single mod, it seems. maybe as an optional dependencies. no surprises it gives so many errors.

Nah guys, i don't know whatcha y'all yappin about, 1.6 is LITERALLY just a worse, buggy and leaky as hell 1.5 with SOSH and some other mods. I keep playing 1.5 and getting a better experience, than watching a pig steal my ship engine.

my bro voluntered to try and fix this mod he never played rimworld or knows c# but better late than never right

@doctor who? From my quick testing, it spams the console with 99 errors every second lol.

People, your opinion: Why do you think the mod doesn't work on 1.6? What exactly was changed that it stops working and is it possible that the mod is still able to work with a little work?

I am actively losing my sanity without this mod, I know you aren't entitled to update this mod, but if you do, just know you are making a lot of people happier, and at least make one person not mentally insane

I await the update of this mod and the end of the days of dumb raiders running straight into my defenses leading to massive piles of bodies as they trickle in one by one around Death Corner, I crave this mod to be put with More Injuries Continued and Combat Extended to have a truly painful existence. Take however long you need, but I beg of you, please update this mod, I can go on without this but it will never feel as good as the old days...
