Nope, I burnt out on Stormworks not long after making this craft and it hasn't spoken to me since, at least not in a capacity to finish one of these things. I'm sorry that's not the answer any of you were hoping for, but it just stopped being fun.

I wouldn't be surprised, I only made sure to dry seal the VTOL engines because with the massive weight of the bird they are the only engines capable of really lifting here (originally she had no jets but this meant it could hardly carry a load and fuel)

the legs only go up fully with Vtol THRUSTERS On if there off you just tilt downwards forwads and the legs glitch and another problem i came accross is that the autodock takes like 9 hours to dock

as I understand it thats just how stormworks is sadly. I recommend fixing the crane to whatever your lifting via the rope tie downs if possible.

I figured I might as well provide an update as to where TB1 is at. Firstly, yes I've been taking a break from Stormworks. Secondly, TB1s flight model is, well, terrible by nature. Its literally a asymmetrical tube trying to fly like a quad copter. I haven't given up on it, but it is quite the pain. If you guys want to lend a hand in the development and workshop solutions for improving it, you can always join the discord linked on my builds and I'll let you guys play around with the current model. To clarify, I don't really need people saying "its not doing this." I probably already know what its not doing. If I'm gonna get external help from any of you, just know that what I need is solutions more than anything.

ah yes, that is the signal locator map. it activates when TB2 detects a distress signal and it triangulates it and shows it on the map. We downloaded that and did not make it ourselfs (I have 0 LUA experience) so sadly I doubt I could change that so its always shows a map.

Here are the unlabeled buttons I've found:

-Pod interior ramp door toggle
-pod interior push button near wheel
-Left and right buttons inside cockpit, on the upper left of the center cockpit console. If this or other cockpit elements are decorative, they should be marked as "Inop" or "inoperative" in my opinion.
-Large keypads for autopilot target
-Two-sided button on top of cockpit to open the big overhead door.

if the entrance isn't working for you you probably need to turn your physics detail to high. Its a Thunderbird so it has to have an over the top entrance system, if you don't want to use it I suggest the door underneath, just hit the 4 switch on the sofa crane first to disconnect it. landing gear can't really be any stronger without them taking up twice as much space (which they effectively can't). but it already does have a "hover" function. turn your vtol compressors off but leave the locked switch on. the fans should provide enough lift so as to compensate for most of the crafts weight.
