Bit unfair that ALL of the female commanders have to go into battle with their chests exposed .Love the style, i kinda wish the females weren't ALL exposed though.

@Straiada Shouldn't be any conflict between this and Stellar Legions. The achievement friendly versions however will not work together. Unfortunately nothing can be done about the lighting. It's just based on the texture. Not any sort of light sources or anything.

Hey Legion, I love your work and hope to see how it all evolves. I do have two questions though, do Stellar Legions overwrite the Aesir? Because they don't seem to be loading for me. If not, it might a different compatibility issue and I'll figure it out eventually.
The other thing is, can something be done about the lightning effect on the portraits? They look gorgeous, sure thing, its just that it breaks a bit of the immersion for me (the light sources and some vanilla rooms don't add up).

Just tested it out. Still working for me, but if anyone else is having issues please let me know. Shouldn't really be anything that it would have a conflict with, except for the achievement friendly version of this mod.

Not sure I want try and maintain another version of this mod. But, if you go to the workshop files, most likely at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\2934163745\gfx\portraits\portraits. Open "vanir2_portraits.txt" in notepad or notepad++. Scroll down to where it says "portrait_groups = {" and delete every instance after that where it says "vanir_true_male_05" and save. That will have removed them.

I know it may be a lil annoying, but is there any chance you could make a version of this but without the helmeted guys? and instead, have the helmeted terminator looking guys be a separate machine species?

@AngryAngel81 Unfortunately adding separate portraits for all of these as slaves would be a huge undertaking. Part of the problem with using AI for more realistic portraits. Not as simple as just adding another outfit or something like that.

@Nike113 never actually messed with force spawning empires. Added a line setting spawn_enabled = yes in the species class and I was able to force spawn empires with the Aesir portraits. I'll update the mod on Steam later tonight.

I have three of your mods installed The Vanir Undying and Aesir.
For some reason whenever i try to force spawn one of them doesn't show up in the game.
