Lucy, I have the same problem. After playing with this mod for months I think the problem are those pizzas generated after the boomer explosion. I played normally but only if I wait mods to load. But after that, if I try to play in versus the game will crash. And that happens too if I play first in versus and then in campaing, even if I wait mods to load or not. I guess it is the game trying to load those pizza models for boomer explosion. I have no other clues, and that's the only difference with other mods for boomer skin.

How to fix the crash or unable to start the game problem: first, type "sv_consistnecy 0" in console, once you do that you can start the game. It will always crash when you try to shoot it for the FIRST time, but once you boot up the game again and shoot it wont crash. (Alteast it works for me like this, if you still experience problems with this mod i cant help)
