...never mind, it seems that it doesn't work when playing as a modded slugcat in Arti's campaign. Might wanna fix this.

Finally, I can go through Artificer's campaign as though it wasn't Artificer's campaign.

@ERROR2401 Scavs will generally be harmless when you have at least 0 reputation, 0 meaning that jumping around too much or running at one with a spear gets you killed. Most scugs start with around 0-10 reputation, so that may be when you are thinking of.

i can finally be friends with that one lizard that tries to kill me even if i tame em. 100/10.

can you make one for the original game and not the dlc? these scavengers just kill me for no fucking reason and im so tired of it

thank you for this mod i always hated that i gived so many pearls to scavengers then an unknown scavenger tribe kill me on sight and scavanger tolls the only one that doesnt try to kill me is the one that says i can pass all i am saying is that scavengers will kill me on sight EVEN THOUGH I GAVE THEM EVERY PEARL IN THE REGION

this doesn't seem to work at all for me in arti's campaign :( the dev menu indicates that i'm properly increasing rep with scavengers, but the filtered local rep remains locked at -100 and they still kill on sight. dunno if it's a compatibility issue or what, but i DO have a lot of mods

@Bringiton, occasionally this can happen if your BepInEx folder gets messed up (how it does and why, what happened? Absolutely no one knows, it is great mystery.).

You may try just closing the game and opening it and trying again, yet if it is consistent everytime, then I would delete:
"\Steam\steamapps\common\Rain World\BepInEx" <---that folder specifically
then in steam "right-click" Rain World, Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Files. And let it fix things.

Finally, another quick and intensive way
"C:\Users\ YOUR USER NAME HERE \AppData\LocalLow\Videocult\Rain World\ModConfigs"
Open up the Mod config folder and edit each mod manually with notepad or a good text editor (which honestly makes it super easy to edit mods and check crashes/errors/warnings.)

Thanks for the update! Sadly initial scavenger reputation doesn't seem to work in arena though, I guess because of arena not having regional reputation, but that's fine
