Cool concept, the animations and idea are all cool. Love the sound effects. Style meter is cool, but does not work as advertised. There were mentions of increased damage and alternate moves / super moves, and I cant seem to figure out any way to access those. If there was some way to access the extra layers to the character, please post them? Ive been able to activate and land the one pop-up super move but it does nothing?

This character is designed to play as a Rushdown. All of his moves are slow, fastest besides grab is 7f. His combo potential is cool, but it feels counter intuitive. Playing in corner is impossible, but getting combo in center stage is great if you can account for all of his moves going up diagonally and all follow up depends on that solely. He has no descending moves, no initiative moves, no punish moves.

Maybe some combo-extenders with directional options; out, low, overhead, down, down diagonal for any sort of coverage. All else, see above

A dodge that just spins u in place and uninteresting gameplay. so much potential so wasted by long frames and a very limited moveset. it wont get updates, dont bother subscibing

bro this character is so trash dont bother subscribing, it cant even win against base game characters dude, the only move that takes less than 6 frames to do is grab, LIKE WHAT!? not to mention that every air move basically forces you upward, and you only get one air option, so you cant even use what have effectively by staying below.

tldr: this guy sucks so damn bad, it bascially broke the scale on how bad it is to play made me want to throw myself in acid.

no air options and all his attacks throws him to the air or the opponent, and i cant make a 5 hit combo

I guess someone else will have to attempt a Jet Set Radio/pro skater Hustler, since Pyrex is now functionally abandoned. If you want a Hustler with rollerblades, you can use "Jean the Contractor" in the meantime.

Character has fun moves and I love how long you can trick about in the air but seems to be lacking any way of quickly coming back down/attacking downwards. A simple divekick would go a long way for Pyrex

Character is sick as hell and super fun, only issue is they have no moves that are fast enough to create or capitalize any openings. just give them a couple 3-5f pokes or starters and could be real fun. Character could also stand to have a super or two or at the very least some EX moves that use meter, maybe those could be the fast pokes/starter moves. Hoping the rework gets dropped soon.

Still awaiting the Pyrex rework. With Jet Set Radio 3 on the horizon and the recent success of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, you'd think there'd be more demand for an updated funky-fresh hustler. There is a niche here that has yet to be realized.

Funny Character I use when giving mahself a handicap with friends, I like the character and when I do occasionally get a combo (not often). I do wish that using this character was not as much of a handicap, and hitboxes made more sense as when playing some moves that look like they should clearly hit completely miss.
Guy is fun but doesn't seemed to have updated at all from itch

my suggestion would be too give him alot of air options and make moves like swoop city use one

really really fun idea. has alot of issues though, you can easily air stall and also the combos can be hard to land, you have no way to hit below you in the air
