anychance of a mod that allows us to be just the marine, you seem to be the only one with a decent 3rd person marine for Halo 2. all the others dont work and have FOV so close i cant see much. hoping to do halo mcc as a marine got to halo 2 to find the only working marine mod has a crazy FOV

Yes, I modified that level to make the cover of the "Resilient Edition" mod, I can't believe I left it like that and didn't realize that haha

I just did the brute level and couldn't find any heretics except for 3 heretic grunts standing over the arbiter's body. sentinels were working fine but banshees keep falling from the sky.

No, you can only play with the shape that you choose when start the mission

Can you change what you shift into?

Yes, once you download it it is incorporated into the game immediately just make sure to start MCC without anti-cheat activated

Btw is it auto (like once downloaded, put into the game instantly) or does it have it's own capmaign

It had its own mission, but due to errors I had to remove it and replace it with another character

The mod is playable the only problem it has is the first 2 levels that I have to fix, I will most likely fix it this week

Dude Heretic Grunt is a legitimate Flood horror game and its badass

in the grunt level, are there supposed to be enemies? I only found four jackel snipers over the master chiefs body and that was it.

Nothing works in solo.
First mission lead to infinite white screen with explosion noises ambient, second mission has no script trigger so you remain blocked to the start....

A version of Halo Reach and Halo 4 i'm afraid it won't be possible since their tools don't work on my PC

Regarding the ODST version I have almost been close to making one but I have a problem, the characters cannot regenerate since they cannot grab first aid kits or regenerate their health

Even so, I'm going to try to make a version for ODST once I fix all the other mods I have, I think I can adapt the characters if I just add shields and completely delete their health system

is it possible to make a halo: odst shapeshiter,reach shapeshifter or halo 4 shapeshifter i cant do it because i cant mod it would be cool

Unfortunately you can't, the weapons are what give you the 3rd person view, i should make a separate mod to remove the third person view

I've tried to implement melee animations for brutes but haven't been able to, if you toggle ctrl and hit near an enemy you can probably get the animation

i saw a mod for brutes by sod he got the animations to work somehow for melee animations

I'll be making some changes to the characters in this edition so you'll probably see the jackal with the shields in some mission!

This mod is wicked! I love the change of pace normally when I play a chief I'm like Doom Slayer just running around and murdering Covies but when playing as Marines or Jackals even Grunts I have to take it slow otherwise I'm dead being forced to fall back just so I can take shots at Covies when playing as a Jackal is awesome if only the arm shield worked

It's fine like this, I left it like this because I won't be able to change all the squads according to the type of character in the mod since if I do so there may be a lot of errors, I'm going to make a separate mod for that one when I have a little more time it will be a kind of Heretic Edition that will have heretic allies vs regular covenant if possible and I don't have too many errors in the process

Not sure if this was a thing before, but on the Heretic levels you don't get Heretic allies, just normal Covenant ones. Also, is there a way to switch to first person?

Some levels will be with the heretic leader and others with a heretic elite

But who would the characters be played for 1-4? Sesa' Refumee, Heretic Elite, Heretic Grunt, Heretic Grunt? Or maybe random Heretic squads for each level?

Maybe, surely it will be a short campaign where only the missions of the arbiter with heretic allies will be present, the enemies will all be covenant, as bosses I have thought of the arbiter and tartarus but I have to see if I can apply all this
