I use a Heavy attack so I get less blocks disadvantage but the Fallen is BUSY doing follow up I get punished for not hitting the projector 1 frame Which means technically the attack was quick I got a 8 block disadvantage
please tell me this is not attention and you will fix it
right?
This must be Relentless Charge, it is the button that make you lose, and not even close to "24f invincible" if you actually test what it do:
lose to grab.
lose to guardbreak.
take block minus from getting hit by any other hitboxes.
take chunk of damage from getting hit by any other hitboxes.
the hitbox of it is f25, thats 2 and a half turn.
the only function that is not self sabotaging is to Burst Read with it. Offensively? forget about it, at best you get into RPS range which your only option is to try dodge opponent grab or not, grab is not available in that stance, after sacrifice chunk of HP by tanking an attack if unlucky.
So while it is flawed its not a contended point for "broken", nothing in vanilla have a cut and dry counter play either unlike most of Fallen stuffs like projectiles and Relentless Charge (this button make you lose), Denial can miss and punishable, and any block frame punish it.
That leave only to the ability to reposition with flight and Special pilot to have nuance and unpredictability, however the Special pilot only activate after a movement command so it do have a tell.
Future rework will introduce some more nuance setplay and most XY movement pilot on specials would be gone.
1. Directional wheel on heavy attacks. It gives fallen incredible range and also allows her to dash back to do an attack like a dodge + attack (similar to miko... but with like 5 moves instead of 1). It makes her incredibly unpredictable.
2. DI, once again, incredibly unpredictable whenever Fallen is EVER in the air due to her being able to move freely, VERY quickly, using DI. Also extends range by allowing her to move into her attacks midair, making her range EVEN farther.
3. I-frames. Her 24f move allowing her to be invincible while simultaneously closing distance... can be used offensively and defensively. I mean what can you do?
I am genuinely curious because I feel like Im missing something here. Also I love vixen and miko
But decent players can play around Fallen well, with minus big attacks on block if not stanced, grabable/guardbreakable Defense, and whiff/block punishable Denial. I concur that "friendlies against most characters" won't be consider much if plays for style mean just pressing buttons, that and majority of characters on workshop are under vanilla level while Fallen was held close to that benchmark.
Contextless, shallow and pubber comments will usually be deleted.
the game is held together by duct tape and paper, sadly.
THAT WILL RESET THE CHARACTER TO BE AS IF YOU'VE NEVER USED THEM BEFORE
IT WILL NOT BE NULL ANY LONGER
