making stages is done purely with code, you can either make one using the older system (you can learn about that on the modding discord, there is a guide for that) or the newer system (more complicated than the older system, but gives a lot more freedom) which you can find in game at the top of the mod options

Is there a way to see what stage loads when randomly selected? One of the stages I have turns all white and I don't know which one it is to remove.

There is a problem, when i use custom characters, his name change to "null" and the game crash, can i fix that? or you need to fix? idk

why does it only choose the first nine stages i installed?

it bugs my game when i install it and yes i have mod loader. so it makes the interaction box for the buttons (like single player, multiplayer, etc) and when i uninstall it then it's back to normal. (sorry if i explained this wrong)

mod options is another mod, it is not included in stage loader

so i got a problem where when i look for the mod options it isnt there. even after trying multiple times to disabling and enabling the mod i cant get it to work

i got it to work. Thats probably what I did, but I brute forced it.

the little grey dot is a feature from the game, not the mod. as for the backgrounds, you need to use "Mod Options" in order to select the stages and turn on/off the stage line.

I was trying to play (single player) and it just shows the custom stages background, and when i click there is a little grey dot.

I decided to try uses the normal characters, to see if the modded ones were fucking with it, and now I can play, but i'm fighting in a pitch black void. There is no difference between the floor and the background. The little grey dot is still there when I click

the problem is probably a combination of stage loader with another mod, if you tell me the other mod that you removed in order for it to work all well, i can see if an update for both to work togeher can happen

So, i encountered a bug with the gui (the health and the super bar dont move at all), and after checking a little, I concluded that it's this mod. It's not a big deal and you don't have to rush fixing it, since you're a human and have your own problems (hopefully not).

though the game crashes on startup if this mod and all stage mods are removed, so thats probably an issue as well

Well i added some stage mods & then i assigned them to be picked & when i chose theme & start the match all it showed me was the default stage like why though?
as in it used to work like that but now its complete worthless
